Don't forget the old favourite... still no CD reset on raid wipe.
Eating the first beam on a8s still attracting much side-eye lol
True, but it's even worse then, because i need to remove 20 items from the market for everything that i need to do on the retainer (ventures, storing items, changing prices, anything else)
True, i read that, still i don't understand why we need a total different expansion for a feature that other MMOs have since start without the need of advertising it.
I wonder, will the next expansion STILL have flying? or they will remove it because they say "It's not needed now, you got swimming" ?
Looking at the game I wouldn't be surprised if they did that.
Thanks for bringing this up, I had forgot, it's a shame we have to wait for CD resets on wipe in raids, I can't see how making it happen would create "balance" problems (I think that's what they said a while ago).

Can't queue with a chocobo in the party.
Can't perform certain actions while mounted.
Those two pop right up in my head.
There was one major one I wanted to remember. I am just now getting to work and can't quite think of what it is, but I just remember not being able to do it and thinking WHY??
Also, you can't use /icam or /gpose while unconscious.
OK this issue might not come under point #4 but here I go
I would love to be able to transfer blinded items over to an alt
I have the Thavnairian bustier on my male main, I sent one of my female retainers out wearing this and now its blinded to me so I can't transfer it to a female alt I recently created on the same SE account but a different ffxiv account (allow me to have both login at the same time)
Age of War
And on server transfer is also 1M gil, i've transferred around a few times between Ragnarok and Gilgamesh back when i raided and 1M is way too low, can't even buy a stack of Baked Pipira Pira.
This is a way people use to troll other people teleports, someone is teleporting, start trade interrupt their teleport, even if they really want the trade window to be a priority at least allow people that are teleporting or interacting to do it and not allowing trade if it was started before a trade.
This kills frontlines, and increases the queues by a lot. Feast worked, that's why it had much better queues when it was released vs when seal rock or shatter were released.
I see too many people mention WoW when pointing out flaws in this game, as someone who didn't play WoW at all, this is worrying me, feels like this is trying to be the WoW killer or another WoW, and from the looks of it WoW sub decreased a lot, there was even some buzz about a private server that was "vanilla WoW", that's how good the original game seems to be now that people prefer the old one, i just hope SE stops the copy paste of WoW and listens to players.
I can see the issue here, despite not having alts or reason to have them (unless it's due to server transfer reasons so i can check the other server market so i don't lose much gil in the process).
I've sold an item once while i was changing the prices of the retainer items, i don't know how accurate it is to say you can't sell while changing prices, however it makes sense not to have the items on market since we're asking him to come back and with him come the items, makes sense to me, just convenience issue but it's realistic that way.
There's a lot of issues with raiding, this being one, i'm afraid that at the pace things are going this game will lose even more raiders.7.
Cap on raid members: Not much to say about this, I always thought the 8 man "raid" composition was too small, but this is another problem.
What i would like to see instead is the use of the flex raid system like some other games do, i think it's a great addition to MMOs that use it so the encounter scales with the number of people that you have in party.
- One new Raid every 6 months, where it takes like 2 months to get geared for serious raiders, that's 4 months of wait.
- Absurd item drop RNG, i still don't get it why when opening the chest it can drop items for a class that's not present in the party.
- Didn't get item? Wait another week for another try at RNG or take up to 8 weeks to collect 8 tokens (most expensive items)
- Complete the raid, nothing else to do, go play another game.
- No 4-man raids
- 24 man raids too easy
- (Non-raid issue) Trials useless since Ravana, no real reason to do EX Trials at all unless it's for the glamour since they give average ilvl, Relic gives higher ilvl and more play time due to grind vs getting Trial weapon after one or two days so i can go afk faster.
This is very true, it's doing the same thing all over again no matter where we go, however that's how the game was designed, i assume to change this they would have to rewrite how combat works, so i highly doubt they'll change it.8.
Rotations are too much scripted: This happens for both bosses and players, and i think it's more evident for dps and tanks, not sure about healers.
I never found a game where rotation were so much strict and scripted, on every boss you are forced to act like you are doing the usual target dummy rotation or you'll just lose dps, there is no other way to actually do it unless you wanna push bad dps.
3.0 made this even worse, locking abilities behind other abilities (Fire IV is just an example).
Ninja and Bard use a priority system so it's a big more dynamic but in the end it all comes to the same using the same skills every X seconds.
This is something i really liked about Guild Wars 2, unfortunately for this game it's hard to get people to be able to swim, they would have to remove some invisible walls from the game and redo some areas of almost every map.
Would it be fun? Of course, this game is bad for exploring, there's nothing to do in maps besides quests that become useless once you do them and you run out of quests, only things left to do in maps is gathering and maps, that's not exploration at all, i'd say the thing most related to explore a map that there is in the game is hunts. Guild Wars 2 is amazing for exploration, stop looking at WoW and look at other MMOs out there.
I agree with everything on that list except #5. #5 creates the trade-off necessary when re-listing your items. It is a small counter to the people constantly updating their prices. If they had a second account, they could update their prices instantly without any down side what-so-ever.
I agree, but to be honest the PvP in this game is always on life support: when The Feast was launched it had a lot of players but now It's back to over 30 minutes of queue time, a shame because It's a good time waster. But PvP in this game is not very exciting so I guess that's why it's always like this, although the factions also give the final blow to it.
Sure I guess ranked Feast matches take less time...but if I want to play with toxic players in a 4v4 match or something, I go play a Moba like LoL or DOTA2
They did the mistake of removing rank requirement from PvP gear, that also killed PvP even more, it was one of the rewards from PvP now anyone can do a couple matches and get the full set they want.I agree, but to be honest the PvP in this game is always on life support: when The Feast was launched it had a lot of players but now It's back to over 30 minutes of queue time, a shame because It's a good time waster. I've stopped at 100 feast wins and gave up, the mount alone was just not worth it for me, it should have been 100 wins, 200 wins is too grindy for the reward we're getting.
