I think at least SE's original intention with this was to stop people crowding around like say a quest npc or npc's who trigger cutscenes while on a mount and force people to get off so at least the NPC can most likely still be interacted with.
The thought of twintania or the Zu mount or the gobbue just eclipsing the npc so you can't even remotely select them conventionally cause people stand on top of them with their mount because" Hur Durr, I'm so funneh!"

granted some people still do this anyway to troll by just sitting on top of an npc with the mount.
Though you can ultimately get around all that with tab targeting (not that it always likes to work.)
Press X -> Removes names from players -> makes you unable to target them -> now you can click the NPC with ease.
Not sure for ps4 users, but the button is quite handy. And to be very honest, even without mounts nearby it's still insanely crowded.

I agree 100% with the person who made this thread. I like how they adress alot of issues and doesn't put people down. I see to often tell people to gtfo and quit and game is fine etc. Sadly the person who made this thread love this game too but just dislikes the restrictions like many players, like myself do too.

1 & 6 appear to be the same, and you already answered the why of the limitation and how players can cope with that limit.
9 Is not a limitation it's a design issue, rather like flight. When they want us to swim it will be added, but as you say, for now it would serve no purpose except swimming.
8.Rotations in any game are 'scripted' because just as there will be BiS armors, there will be 'perfect' rotations which competitive players will demand everyone hit or else. Not sure why you're arguing about abilities being locked behind others, it's like a set and spike combination.
7. Game balance. The raids are balanced around 8 players, to balance on a flexible cap, the raid balance would be screwed up and you'd have to depend on rubber banding the HP of bosses and MOBs as well as the strength of their attacks as the party scales. Otherwise you'd have people going in 16 man instedad of 8 and cake walking the entire thing - boring.
5. Can't keep items on the market while you're managing your retainer's sales, sorry this is almost a non-issue in the first place unless you're keeping your price adjustment screen open for hours on end, but aside from the logically speaking, your retainer cannot be handling market transactions while they are discussing pricing strategy with you, can they?
4.Can't send stuff to alts, again you answered your own question, RMT and player abuse of this kind of feature deters SE from allowing it. That said, if you have a friend in game, send the stuff via them, and return the favor, or use the company chest.
3.PVP faction restrictions only apply in the parts of PVP that require the use of factions for lore reasons, otherwise you have the spectacle of Warriors of light beating the hell out of each other when they should be working shoulder to shoulder. The lore doesn't fit such open PVP, nor does the game, outside of likes like the Wolves Den gladiatorial style match.
2.Cant teleport while trading? Aw, diddums....why is this even remotely an issue that irks you. Close the trade window. Good grief, people will complain about anything. Next you'll complain that you can't trade wile riding a chocobo porter. If your problem is some jerk initiating a trade to interrupt your teleport, that's harassment and report the dumb-ass for doing it. You cannot fix stupid, and unfortunately many players display this quality in abundance.

You totally went defensive on this, complaints and feedback exist to make the game better, complaints are the things that created 2.0, else we would still be playing 1.0, or this game would have already been silently dead.
Some of those things got a workaround, and if players can find a workaround, so can RMTs, with the exception that they get paid to do this and will not care at all, while we are the ones that PAY to play the game, and the only thing that's left for us is frustration.
Reporting someone because he's stopping me from teleport? Waste even more time to take revenge over this? Why shouldn't they fix this instead?
Spamming logout and login with my main and alt character to pass stuff with the bank? Why should I do this instead of mailing stuff to my alt? Why is my alt forced to stay in the same FC as me? what about people that don't have a FC or access to a bank?
Retainers are a cancer, the issues i said wouldn't exist if they separated bank and market board.

If you can't take the time to report someone for harassing you for interrupting a teleport, then what happens when SE fixes that and idiots who harass others for fun find another way to do it? Reporting harassment is more effective in the long run and a major part of fixing issues that relate almost entirely to player behavior.
If you have the time to play two or more characters in different FCs that are fully leveled, it would appear that you have more than enough time to pass things back and forth either via a friend or by taking a short leave of absence from your other FC, in order to use the Company chest in the other FC you are a member of. The problem I have with what you say on this and several other points is the obvious potential for abuse.
