    @Oscillate_Wildly: You can just buy dyes once the price drops. The colored gear being better than others/specific classes thing is lame but each gatherer having their own dyes isn't bad once they start going into circulation.

    Hm, maybe it's just my server not spreading it around yet but I think one LS member saw a pot of red dye go for 80k+. A bit steep, and as our wards were crashing every hour on the hour I haven't seen so much as a pot of all purpose grey go for 100k. D: But, as I have no need to dye yet (yet that is) and nothing to make as a weaver I guess that's fine. I would buy a few dyes in the past, but that was when they were absolute dirt cheap to create. Now it's relying on a few people to gather if they wish to gather.

    It's an odd split!

    Yes dyes are stupidly overpriced right now. Most colors you can get ~1/3rd of the time or more if you go to the zones with the least amount of "noise" items. I myself would get around 10 dyes in about 15-30 min of gathering compared to before, and each of those dyes is enough for 1 finished item whereas you would probably need an entire stack of dye before.

    Once dye price goes down dyed gear will become more affordable so it's only a matter of time.
