This should apply to FC's as well. One house per FC. There's an FC that owns half of the houses in a ward on my server >:T

But the 'short names' for fc's aren't exclusive, any fc can have the same short name as any other.

They're all separate FC's, they just have the same short name (which doesn't have to be unique).

Each FC is already restricted to one house, but there's nothing to stop people levelling up multiple companies with the same short name to rank 6 so they can buy a house (which is what has happened here). If you view the details on each house you'll see each might have the same short name, but will have different actual names.

I'm guessing Avera is talking about Aeth. If so, yes they have multiple "alt" FC's for the sole purpose of owning multiple houses in the wards; hobby houses like "Night Club, Cafe, Reserve this place for your Eternal Bond reception. We can customize for you." etc. So while it's not the same FC it's a type of sub FC that operates under the main FC's alts. Back when they first did it their FC leader bragged about it on Reddit and got flamed. Not that it changed much, they still have like 5 houses for no reason in Lav Beds.

They aren't the only FC that does this either, for example we have an FC in my ward that owns a Medium and Small right across for them just for decorating "welcome to the guest house! enjoy your stay"; they've been asked if they would sell it before so someone could get a personal house and the response from their leadership was basically "No it's mine" (so that 1 person holds at least 3 houses, 2 FC's + personal). This type of behaviour is seriously selfish when the housing resource is so limited.

So again, 1 FC/1 Personal per account/server would go a long way in helping stop these type of shenanigans and opening up a few more plots for other FC's/individuals.

On Famfrit, there's an FC called <Soul> or something like that that has not two... not five... but SIXTEEN houses in the Goblet. Possibly more, I lost track after finding 16 of them. I can't even fathom whether it's just one guy with two accounts and 8 alts each or whether he has a large group of friends who all decided to make alts with similar names. Most of the FCs owning the houses have 3 people in them and all the FC leaders had similar names.
