We have open world, it's called frontline. Seriously the frontline is big enough for open world PvP, especially at fields of glory.

Well it's a good thing in this game you can't kill your own party in PVP as far as i know.Change the example to an impish guild mate then. I got to listen in TS to a rage session after a fellow guildie was typhoon'd to his doom by one of our druids on the timeless isle in WoW after having worked together for the previous hour. His reasoning? He thought it would be funny. And I suppose for the rest of us it was.
I don't think Open World PVP Means what you think it means.
The game is not designed with the intent of PvP at all in the first place, let alone open world...
No. Open world PvP is a dumb idea. Next.
oh my god.. No no no no no no no no...dont even ..no no ..omg no no no!!!
No thanks. Open World PvP on WoW is dead because people just want do their battlegrounds in peace, so whats to stop pvpers from just doing their frontlines and whatnot while standing in the cities?
There's just no point to open world PvP other than to Harass players.
From a story standpoint, it makes absolutely no sense and is utterly ridiculous. If you want that kind of PvP there are plenty of OTHER games.
So i plant a very loud NO to your Open World PvP.
The game has these useless things called sanctuaries. No one ever uses them because mob AI in this game is a joke. From a story standpoint it makes total sense. They would just be labeled bandits. All four regions have those. <_< What's sad, is I wouldn't even play on this server and even I'm not going to scream no as loud as I can and deny the fact that the world is boring beyond reason after you've been around once.No thanks. No thanks really....They would rather focus their time and money on something else.
1) PvP sanctuaries, aka where other players cannot attack you.
2) This is so that the fights can be as fair as possible. No low level likes to be attacked by something they have no chance against.
3) This is once again so that the fight can be fair. What is the point of fighting something that cannot fight back?
4) This is once again so that the fight can be fair. What is the point of fighting something that cannot fight back?
This type of PvP isn't for you then. The people who usually play on these servers are looking to be a nuisance to other players, or to put themselves to some crazy challenge. I understand your points, and I am not saying they are wrong, but this isn't a regulated pvp match in the open world.1) PvP sanctuaries, aka where other players cannot attack you.
