That's it exactly. B&S clearly explains to you that by joining a faction or equipping said faction's gear, you are opting in on the game's open world PvP. . . When I don't want to be bothered, I don't wear it. But neither does many others I see at lower levels. For obvious reasons.

And that effectively supports my earlier statements. I'm not against having it. But if it will go unused or prove itself unpopular (you know, like PvP already is, unfortunately), we'd be better served improvig what we've got or coming up with other new things
