reading the op I would say it's only those who sell at way out there prices multiple times the plots value.

Well...if you sell for the plots value, that means the next person selling the plot will sell for twice the plots value simply to cover the cost from both you and the plot. Which then the next person will consider in his prices.

Then a few sells down the line, you're looking at 700mill for that small plot. Without making any profit, mind you!

Well then people just keep their houses never abandon and just enter every so often. Hey they wasn't meant to be sold anyway so problem solved.

don't condone the fact anyone would have to pay twice if I sold my plot that's why I don't really try to sell it.

the problem though is that people that want a plot expect people that have one they don't really need to just give it up and simply release it for no reason so someone else can buy it.

people like me who have a house they don't actively use that much keep it solely because there's no reason to relinquish it. it costs nothing to keep other than maybe a minute of my day once a month to step inside and reset the timer. and having a house even one I don't use much is more valuable than having nothing.....

thus I keep my house as do many others and thus people who want houses can't buy them because theres no plots available...
