We shouldn't have to be computer hackers to be able to switch to a web browser in a game that all but requires use of 3rd party websites...
im surprised nobody has mentioned the fact that using third party programs is a bannable offense and i have herd of ppl in FFXI getting banned for using third party software simply for the sake of being able to alt+Tab, back when FFXI didnt have its own windower that is.
Sorry. I don't wanna bash back and forth. But you're running dual GPU's.. and your complaining about running too much electricity. point, me
I don't know how I so easily walk in to some of these little spouts. they are silly, and there is no point to them.
I have told myself I'd do better about not getting into bickery, and I will stick to it. I'm sorry Molly_Millions. I'm going to walk away from this. I should not of pushed such a simple, and arbitrary thing to a stupid level.
We're all here for a common purpose (hopefully) discuss the game, the pros the cons, and hopefully also how to make it better.
CrossfireX will not work in windowed mode :< and I like to use both graphics cards

While this usually a PC game basic, I think the decision to not add it is due to the ease of running third party programs while FFXIV is running.
Anyone who wants to run a third party program knows how to work around the lack of ALT+TAB, so they are mostly inconveniencing their more casual players.
Of course, everyone has their old computer sitting around anyway. ALT-TAB would be nice, but then that old PC would truely be worthless.
