They already give people a new set of gear through dungeons, and rings that give bonus experience through lvl 30 (when you unlock the new Jobs). I dont want this to be be the WoW level to 90 and have end-game characters who don't know a blasted thing about their classes.
I was in Sohr Kai the other day with three 'new' players on they all died on the horse boss when it was at 8%. Because I have leveled the "long way" and put my time in, I was able to keep myself (as my Paladin) healed, work the mechanics and still win the fight. You won't get that if people are skipping levels more than they already do through FATE grinding (which teaches one nothing about their class).

Go ahead, put in a real-money shop and just like when Destiny introduced level boosts for money, I'll take MY money elsewhere. Dont ruin a great game by listening to the whiners- if they're going to whine about it being "too hard" then I dont want them here!
