3.35 Deep Dungeon like SAO Aincrad

I have certain opinions about SAO that a fan probably doesn't want to hear.

What is SAO btw? Do you mean .hack? Or Log Horizon (which comes pretty close to FFXIV)? Or Overlord (most OP-character btw, beside Saitama) xD

Reminded me of the dungeon crawl in Dissidia.

Now that you mention it, it does sound alot like it.

Also I think almost everyone agrees that SAO sucks unless you're really biased towards it. The Aincrad story arc was a good IDEA. The execution was horrible. The characters are terrible. The villain is a joke.
The only thing good about SAO are the first two episodes, after that it became Harem-Hunt.

Back in Dissidia it was called "Labyrinth". You basically started without gear and depending on RNG you could get gil, armor, start a fight, get different extras (buffs and debuffs alike, sometime you were forced to take a debuff) and increase the members of your party. With each little thing you'd advance until the end of the labyrinth. Sure was a pain completing it 100%.

It reminded me of the Cave of Trials from the Star Ocean series.

Like Archaell mentioned, this concept isn't particularly new or groundbreaking.

Given the details on how multiple clears give different rewards, and how we have "save slots" with each group we go in with... I'm thinking Edda will grow from each defeat.
