The Augmented Ironworks/Ironworks gear in the english patch notes is a typo.
The i190 gear is simply called Ironworks, without the Augmented part, and is crafted.
The i170 gear is called Carbonweave, not Ironworks, and is also crafted.

The "Augmented <i180 gear name>" is gear that uses the gob cups/dice to be upgraded. (Example: Millkeeper's Saw (i180) -> Augmented Millkeeper's Saw (i200) )

Hm.. yeah, used Ariyala to sum up the stats.

Seems I can keep my penta-melded right-side i170 (accessories).
The new 195 are only better by 2 CP (..and slightly higher meld caps for craft/control. But putting V materias to make fully use of those 1-2 extra stats.. doesn't seem worth it.)

I didn't really gear up my crafters before 3.3, so only my BSM is with food barely able to 3-star, rest all at 2-star.
My plan is to finish putting my BSM in blue 180 gear (which I can later upgrade to 200), and craft the 195 main hand / off-hand tools.
Even unmelded they're better than 170 fully melded, and fully melded better than the 200 main/off hand.

Stupid question. Forgive me! XD Is the upgrade from 180 -> 200 gear something that is a completely new item? As in, you don't need the 180 to get the 200 one? Or does it work like the hunt upgraded gear? How do we get the gob cups/dice thingy? xD

After the Crafting/Gathering reset on Thursday morning the Goblin Dice/Cup will be added. You'll be able to trade 50 Red Scrips for one of the item. Crafting = Cup and Gathering = Dice.
