Better expect it to be like 500k. The mats seem very cheap and it's two star, non-specialist.
Carbonweave Apron:
Carbon Fiber x2 (100 blue Scrips --> like 20k when collecting them yourself)
Cloud Cloth x2
Pterodactyl Leather
Sewing Thread x3
Titanium Ingot
Rest is even cheaper. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I've sold 6 (3 chest 3 pants) for 2 mil a piece by the idiot whose trying to sell them for 5-6 mil.Better expect it to be like 500k. The mats seem very cheap and it's two star, non-specialist.

I know, right? And to make it so they only need 3 of each instead of the 10. My soul died a little. I was almost tempted to save my favor mats in case we'll need them for 3.3 crafting but decided against that. Same with materia. XD
Actually, it's not even the favor mats that bug me. It's how much easier it is over all, compared to before 3.3. Perhaps not the actual crafting, and you'll still need to gear if you're new to crafting, but the overall process is really a lot easier, I guess. I didn't like the grind before but this makes me wish I had all that time back. xD And then some.
New crafting gear is easier/less time consuming than 1 relic. How disappointing. I guess at least I have a piece but that's what's so stupid. Have other parts to craft now(not all yet).

Chest piece. Going to get boring with 1 glamour though

Where do you get the light-touched aethersand? I saw I get the crystallized sap from churning mists somewhere (or should i say some time)
.................. .The new aethersand is from aetherial reduction from Radiant Astral Moraine or Lover's Lorel, available on every old ephemeral node for botanist/miner. You need 7/8 or 8/8, like the old sands. You get water/ice clusters/crystals as a side result, so yay if you didn't like fishing aetherial reduction.

Yes. That system was a mistake in the first place, needed to die, and this patch was the appropriate time to kill it.
In 3.2, they made the most ridiculous grind with favors and crap to gear up crafters, with ZERO reward for doing so. There was nothing to craft if you geared up. By "nothing," I mean i180 battle gear that cost several million Gil worth of mats to make. No one would buy that when the uncapped tomestones gave 180.
SE had messed up badly. Never before in ARR had the grind been THAT bad and there be literally no reward. The forum was filled with threads of people talking about how crafting was dead. The market board for the crafted 180 battle gear was literally a sea of zeroes.
Nevertheless, a number of dedicated crafters spent the ridiculous amounts of time and Gil to gear up anyways, either for their pride as crafters or the hope that they would be rewarded in a future patch.
Yoshi decided to delay nerfing of the gear progression that would have normally occurred in 3.3 so that those who geared in 3.2 would be rewarded for their efforts. Those crafters had a great run in 3.3 and it is now time to stop making up for the mistakes of 3.2 and move forward with gear progression.
