Omg that is crazy, lol
I think our large fc mansion we paid 70 mil
Im totally agree. But i WISH large houses and medium houses had their own ward for FC ONLY.i think the biggest problem is solo players being able to buy houses. At present I'm in the same bout as some others and i COULD by all rights go buy 3 large houses with my main and a large for my guild and that's 4 houses gone to one player with this limited amount of plots, but I wont. Plots should have never been made to be able to become personal houses. Should have been a completely separate feature.
I don't feel bad for solo players not being able to get a house but i DO for the guilds that all work together to get one just to see they cant and miss out on the multiple features available for them.
And seperate medium and small houses ones for private and own ward. Cuse large for solo player seems lonely tho...
Easy way to get past that is go /busy. People can't trade you if you have that status and therefore your "housing mafia" can't stop you as easily from buying the house. And I'm pretty sure there's an auto decline trades option in the system settings (could be wrong tho)Yes we have a group of people who are dedicated to buying as many houses as possible and then reselling almost immediately to the highest bidder. These people get together and rush houses, with one person opening trade windows with legitimate buyers so their partner can purchase the land. Because thanks to SE's coding, you can't interact with ANYTHING while you have a trade window up.
Building onto this post, GMS can review any and all chat logs. So it is in no way difficult for them to figure out if you are truthful/lying.Pretty sure buying houses for the sole purpose of throwing them out back to resell for a profit is against the tos. All people need to do is be proactive about it. Don't give in to abuse by these people. After the houses are implemented and you see a bunch of pfs up offering to sell plots, report them. That's what it's for. Take pics of their pfs for prof and time stamp the moment you see this happening.
By enabling this behavior, they will keep eating away at the plots if no one stands up. But by means is this no witch hunt. Don't spread gossip about so and so committing these acts. Let the gms do their job after you report and move on.
I find the choice of the new, changed prices more than fair. Making them higher would just cut out all the gamers who do not have the time to gather that amount of gil. It would give the people who played for ages or are just clever crafters an advantage.
There are plenty of websites that give projections on server population. how inflated markets are, and what type of community the server houses, be it hard core content clear groups, a casual pace server. etc. etc. Its MMO 101. You do the same thing when you pick a neighborhood you want to buy a house irl in, or move your family too. Is it safe, how well off is it. etc. etc. Maybe its time to make the tough choices, if you want something bad enough, maybe its time your fc, or your group of friends need to move into migrating together. Lack of knowledge isn't an excuse for why S.E should hand out more housing to larger servers(as others have argued) or making housing instanced. It sucks, but even games have thought choices just like irl.
I'm not going to move to a dead server just so I can have a house. Moving to Balmung was the best decision I ever made with this game. NOTHING will make me go back to my original server. I will happily pay someone else for a house once I amass the amount of gil for it.
Like merging low population servers that get an unfair amount of resources per subs. Or even better if a server can not maintain a certain amount of paying subs, the housing wards on that server should be shuttered. Since they are unable to generate the revenue as a server such as Gilgamesh or Balmung.
I felt stupid for typing this. I hope you felt the same typing your ridiculous answer that reinforces the broken system and blames the player.
