I am kidding, but in all honesty none of the games are really all that fun for me and everything costs so much mgp compared to how much you get it's just too meh for me. I'd rather do the things I enjoy in the game.

I love doing gates but have no interest in standing around for 20 minutes until another one pops. If they were every 15 or 20 minutes I'd spend a lot more time in the GS. They are exactly the type of casual puzzle content that is missing elsewhere in the game.

Someone mentioned slot machines and I thought, why not? We already have gambling and some people really like those things.

one of my gripes with minigames is that it backs you out of it after every play. It's more annoying than it is fun. If you let me just stay on the minigame, i'll keep playing it. There truly is no need for the interruption.

We really need less of those unnecessary confirmation pop-ups.

I think a randomly generated maze would be fun. Like, out of a bunch of presents or something. Involve some lore-based riddles. Maybe some jump puzzles or following a narrow, complex path over a pit.

Or maybe a trivia game show? Just like a couple of lore-based questions that you answer in a crowd on stage, people who get it wrong get like a bucket dropped on their head. Or drop out through a trap door.

Heres some funny Gold saucer events n activities that could existing in ffxiv.
Some we already heard n some i could think of :P

Ghost Train : Imagen the old classic ghostly train from ff series & u battle & bet on the stages, until u reach the head train for the biggest price rewarding.
With lovely old final fantasy musics fighting the classic monsters & bosses.

Lost Paintings : Be the one that restore the missing paintings from the crystal museum hall thats been stolen.
Ur quest to return the paintings by travel into all the classic old worlds of final fantasy games.
Experience again & u support the final fantasy heroes in the most epic battles & face every classic moments from all final fantasy games ever.
Small epic moments of evey piece is a painting

Haunting Mansion : Add a little scary boogy house with alots of small mini-games, puzzles & creepy stories!!
I even think we could have an own book journal to type own stories there :P

Wold of the minion : Place for go dungeons with ur favorite minions, radings & lvl up with them.
Face the mini-world of Eorzea battle into mini dungeons & mini bosses.
Could be mini fun with mini experience for our little minions :P

Where do you see gambling? Far as i know, some countries don't allow any form of gambling in video games by law, so we may not get it.

cacpot is a lottery draw, which is gambling. This is why there is no gold saucer in china

I wouldn't mind seeing some card games added, like black jack. or poker. In red dead redemption me and my friends would play those for hours to pass time.

What about a Single/Group play game where:

Single Player, you run a parkor/obstacle course while NPCs try to shoot you off/manipulate the arena so you fall, etc.
OR: you try to do the above to an NPC runner.

Group: One person is the runner and the other people try to shoot them off/manipulate blocks, etc.

Maybe Skeeball? Mini golf? Maybe a Dance Dance Revolution type thing where it plays music and you have to press keys according to what the screen says to move your character?
