Not really viable, as you either need millions of gil to join in (if the DoL tokens even exist on the market), or have also leveled to end-game gathering.

The wall built by red scrips in the name of "end game crafting" was supposed to bridge the gap between those without gil and those with it, but it really just drove away those without. Whether or not you think that's a good thing is a matter of opinion; I don't think a wall should be so onerous that it just causes people to give up playing a video game.

I do believe that if you've made the gear investment with ALC by this point, though, you should be able to macro d-and max-pots with guaranteed hq yields. For items like potions, I don't mind seeing those being macro-able because crafting stacks of something that is needed in stacks should be a mindless endeavor after a certain investment.

3* Max pots are macro'able to the BiS geared ALCs. The issue is yield. Imo Max pots should yield at least x3 pots (i would prefer x5 in the current state of the game however once we obtain better gear it would be too overpowered) per synth. Once they fix that in the upcoming patch it will be balanced. The difficulty is a non issue.

Not without hasty touch, and/or all HQ mats.

I think the yields should be increased but the difficulty of the craft is fine. At this stage of this patch, *anybody* can make 3 stars as long as they have the specialist stone.... Most people will be able to get HQ on a consistent basis if they have put in the effort to get HQ mats, assuming they know what they are doing.

Keep in mind this is a niche product for people who want to really push progression. Everyone else can just stay with X-pots or Draconian pots.

Why do you think it's an unreasonable request? Add something to the discussion if you think you have an argument why a commodity like potions shouldn't just require an investment in gear.

These things will be crafted hundreds of times each week, and the only difficulty in it is if you remember a rotation and don't get unlucky with RNG. There's no skill involved once you've looked up a decent rotation to craft it once HQ, so why force a timesink on people for hundreds of crafts? Especially when the latest recipes are locked behind specialists? Shouldn't specialist ALCs get some reward or reason for existing, if not to have an easier time with crafting these things?

Again, unless the demand is greater than you can manage timewise, it seems fine. How about when I need to craft 90 of an item for blue scrips? Why should it take as long as it does when I can guarantee hq it?

With gear as they're currently progressing you'll be able to do the blue scrip items HQ any ways next patch so what's the argument there?

I apologize Mindy we have a difference in personalities. You have 6 pages of arguements and nothing is making you happy and no ones arguement is valid save yours. They are just giving you further points you think are wrong so I will concede the point that I have nothing to add to the discussion but there doesn't seem to be a lot left to discuss. You have lots of feedback regarding this issue.

I think your dissatisfaction with Alch is far greater than most people anticipated. I don't know anyone who crafts hundreds of these things a week or would need/want to. Raids days tend to have a finite amount of hours people can do them before they are exhausted.

I apologize again if you feel I was condecending, I was merely illustrating that no ones feedback is making you happy, no ones discussion points seem to be helping either.
