Moving Normally(or even faster) while under the effects of heavy

Let me repeat, I live in Rural New Zealand, internet that is literally worse than 3rd world countries, and I ain't never see someone like that untill I saw that guy in the vid. Don't blame the guy recording the video for this guy's blatant hacking, I KNOW LAG AND LATENCY, what was seen in the video, was NOT that.

Between someone's personal ping AND SE's SERVER updating you on what has happened, that EASILY explains away the stun everyone is hung up on. As for the heavy+ stun later, it looks like he -was- slowed AND moving slowly, then knocked back as he was stunned. However I'm not sure where the mch was except that he was somewhere behind the war. Do you raid? Have you seen how terrible SE's servers are? There are all sorts of janky things that should never happen, and I imagine the same holds true in PVP. Maybe he is cheating, but a single video where it isn't obvious that there could be other causes isn't enough to convince me. As I said in another post, I would like to see further videos but there are none.

Yeah 1 video with "proof" where proof equals 2 stuns that can be explained by latency (especially because Sakura would have no reason to use purify with 1 second left, he isn't an idiot.) The heavy is weird, but I don't believe that is conclusive proof of hacking. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. If SE thinks it is, they'll ban him. You say that I am trying to paint the warrior as a laggy player, but it's not just me. Other people have seen it too. Not that being laggy is a crime, but it does make him being the sole video source something to be skeptical of. I would like to see further videos, but apparently there are none. Since in my 300+ matches with him as previously stated, I have not seen a single thing resembling what anyone is complaining about nor what is in the sole video provided as proof. While you are at it, you might as well start investigating the three other players in the top 100 with a win rate of 75% or higher, since that's fishy.

It's still enough proof that SE should consider investigating your friend to ensure if he was cheating or not (running through stuns/normal run speed with heavy/suspicious win rate), but I'm not sure if they care enough about PvP to start investigating like that. The same goes for anyone else with win rates that looks suspicious, despite the fact that those others don't have any other proof going against them.

But for now, I don't see any point in defending this guy, with the current evidence that's stacked against him.

If you look on the guys channel there are actually two videos. Also you can purify for the sole purpose of removing debuffs, or your friend may have realized running around that much with a 4 second stun is too obvious and panic purified, you know he isn't a idiot right? You can obviously see he was feeling pressured because 5 second later he uses attunement.

Also your experiences with involve non-ranked pvp and pve. You have zero idea what he does in ranked games.

Yes, and the second video is even less convincing than the first. I watched both. And actually, I do have an idea of what he does in ranked games because we did ranked 4v4 with a team in the preseason before two people decided that they didn't enjoy feast that much. I paint the warrior as laggy because that's my experience; I have roughly 500 games of feast and have played with and against Bananajuice more than a few times and he always seems to be laggy. You are entitled to believe me, disagree with me, go cry in a corner or whatever else.

And to Nezerius, I agree SE should go ahead and investigate. I just doubt that they will find anything conclusive. I'm sure that he gets reported all the time from his win-rate alone even if nothing weird happens in that specific match.

There is a second video, you can look at the channel of the user that posted the video in this thread. You will basically see the warrior and the machinist complaining about the guy running through stuns and binds -_-

No, but binds are super easy to break and with how terrible those teams were it seems likely that is what happened (or cleanse). And if he is actually cheating, you can just hope SE does the right thing.So by all means, keep firing off those reports though if people have been reporting him for as long as they claim, and SE hasn't done anything I guess it means there's no breach of the rules. That's a shame, if he gets banned and my static blows up I'd have more time for ToS.

No amount of lag will let you COMPLETELY ignore a stun. If that was the case, everyone would be force lagging.

You are defending him like you know everything he does. You made your point, you don't believe he hacks. Anything else you say makes you a laughing stock.

Oh yes, I know about the Janky things that this game does, like how if your latency was high enough, you can cheese the mechanics in dragons neck, by quickly jumping back onto the platform when typhon blasts everyone off when they fail a mechanic, preventing a wipe.

I been doing pvp since wolves den and carteneau flats came out, I have the ADS and the little airship with wins to spare, and I do a LOT of pvp, and I'd say, it's extremely extremely suspect for him to be running around with heavy and stuns like it's nothing. And that it's only him. And that many people with different internet speeds are reporting the same. And that a great deal of credible people I have seen often in the feast are saying the same thing. And that there's more than one vid.

I dunno, there are so many people still around who were FATE botting Northern Thanalan for weeks/months after 3.0 came out. And some people on my server that were spiritbond botting for weeks during 2.x and aren't banned.

Anyway, how the heck is this thread still here?
