I have a friend who tells everyone to focus on me if he's on the enemy team. Actually, two of those. He's had I think 5 people chasing me in 8v8s (sometimes, I live, and then I really laugh).>.> Unless a guy stuns/silences (silence applies if you have used your instaheals) you after you survive. ;-;
I have a nin friend who always saves his lb for me whenever he is on the enemy team... If I still manage to be winning against him, he saves his lb untill the last 10-5 seconds of the match, lb's the person with the most medals, then wins. ;-;
Just a question, because I don't know any healers personally who Feast, and I recognize a few of you awesome healers I see from time to time inside Feast - when would you expect your WAR to go into Defiance?
I read a comment earlier about 90k dps for WAR is bad, but there have been times where Im forced to grab 200 coins at start of match and then come to find out our healer immediately starts screeching at me to get into Defiance. I usually take that as "You need to compensate for my inexperience," and rather than risk getting bursted because the other team zergs me and having to face a salty healer lll most likely be queued up with again, I go Defiance and QQ at my dps.
There are some healers that are perfectly capable with me at 4 stacks and in dps stance right up to the third adreneline box where I almost always immediately Defiance.
I just want to get a feeling from you experienced pvp healers(Lord bless your souls), when you feel WAR should go Defiance.
What if they just tied it to the healer wins achievement? At say the 500 win one, you get a healer only mount (even something as simple as say take the current feast mount, re-skin it white, and add the Bis Bird bubbles to it, think that would be cool) Similar to the idea of tank mounts for PvE.
I get a little antsy when Wars have 4 stacks and are still in deliverance, just because people start hitting you more, and my mana is draining a bit faster nothing too bad. If there's 30seconds left on the clock and you switch to defiance when we are winning, then it's great XD. 6+ stacks then I get really flustered. 10 stacks and I screech at my comp screen many swearwords while typing in chat "Defiance please."

It's silly to judge a player from a single match DPS number. even having a high number is pretty irrelevant as what matters is doing the highest burst at the right moment for the kill.
We don't know how much up time that WAR had. Did he have to kite? did he have to pull back to go save another team member?
Sure if that WAR never did 120+K in all his matches, there'd be something to be said.
I see too many DPS (in the bronze-silver rank) who just don't know when to fall back/regroup and go Kamikaze to keep their DPS up then end up dying...
As for defiance, I'll go in/out based on situation:
- If I'm high on stacks, I may stay in defiance while I'm building my stacks and switch to Deliverance when it's the right time to burst
- I'll be in defiance if we're winning with 1min left on the clock and I have high medals
- I'll switch to defiance when I need to use Tow/ToB/Equilibrium for extra HP or when it's time to refresh shield/regen
But everything can be brute forced so need bigger change to address that. Only reason I did not suggest the system you want, each type gets own rank I assume?, is that there is likely a reason we did not get that in the first place, which is it would be too much dev as there systems are currently not designed well to track that information. If that is a case, a half system/solution which could in theory be put in place quickly is better then none.
Its the same everywhere... Sometimes u are just concentrated and u play a good match, other times u just get lost, other times u do all correctly but they still blame u like there is no tomorrow... Sometimes u get commendation from all your team... It doesnt matter... Here is what happens
1) People think they deserve a better rank of what they really do....
2) People forget there is another team playing against them, wich can have a better comp, and be better overall...
3) Well DPS can carry, but healers... omg, healers can sink you... If u get a healer who cant survive by himself, u are gona lose, unless the other healer is even worse... lol
4) A good healer can carry a bad tank, but a good tank cant carry a bad healer... So if u think about this, healer is not so bad as tank... U can still win matches...
5) Some solo players are not solo... They have discord up all the time... This is also not fair...
