Actually it depends on what it does. Doesn't have a set pattern. Part of the fun. But here in XIV nearly everything is scripted.

Well of course FF14 is gonna have it scripted. Ozma in its original incarnation is basically RNG: The Boss. What it does can either not do too much to you or can kill you on its first turn as soon as the battle starts. It's no wonder that people can beat it at LV1 while others feel more comfortable beating him at LV 99.
