What's with people saying Yokai-Watch looks out of place?

Tbh, I think it would be worse, the rehashing from old games and nostalgia is something I love from the FF series. .

Original ideas is worse than rehashing? Alright. Again, don't really remember older FF games rehashing sprites or 3D models as much as XIV does.
I think II and IV on PSP shared the same ogre sprite? and V and VI had the same Gaelkitty.

Can you not see how the ultra cartoony look of them is out of place in a more "realistically" animated world?

Harmless throwaway event for a great game in a mediocre one that wont impact the game's lore or world in the slightest because it's just cosmetics. Don't have to like it but it's not going to change Eorzea forever.
