PS : PS : It's funny to see people recruiting MCH only for static, but I guess that just proves the point.
All servers combined on FFLogs, there's 516 MCH who cleared A6S vs 282 Bards and I'm not even showing you the DPS difference, you already know that MCH have around 200 more DPS than bards. (I already said it previously)
I'm inviting you to take a look at this. http://www.fflogs.com/statistics/10/...gregate=amount
I'm using the max percentile since it's pretty much the totally optimized DPS you can get with your class at the moment.
Like you said previously though it's not everyone that uses FFLogs but I believe most static are in fact using it, as for those not using it I believe the numbers are around the same.

Likewise for 3.0~3.1 when the inverse was true. But honestly, when statics are straight up refusing specific jobs for the sake of progression, it proably isn't a good static to be in to begin with. Before MCH was also consistently behind BRD on top of having less representation, but it still didn't stop groups from taking them in.

So your point is, do not balance the classes because MCH had his hard time in previous patch so this time it's time for Bard to have a hard time? (That's a lot of time. lol)

I honestly don't know how you came to that conclusion after reading Flo's post...

No, I'm saying that parties who don't take BRD because of reasons like fflogs most likely aren't good parties anyway if they are taking the job over a player. And in a meta sense, BRDs have been uncontested since 2.x for party compositions, only until 3.x did they start competing for a raid slot (and they were still better at it in certain areas, and is still the case now but to a lesser extent.)

You know the fun bit about fflogs? Numbers tend to be padded one way or another. Are you comparing similar teams(i.e. all have ast, all have drg, all have nin, all have sch), with similar clear times when comparing? From what I see that's not really it.

Fun fact the one bard that had like a 2.2k parse in a2s - they got that because they got padded with balances etc...
