You forgot the one critical detail that makes Adlo infinitely more potent than N.AB: Deployment Tactics. Yes, you can only do that once every two minutes, but it will result in a shield on the entire groups that Nocturnal ASTs can't even dream of (N.AH is a joke compared to deployed Adlos, even non-crit ones). Plus, the entire kit of N.AST is just... lackluster. It's all over the place, there's barely any synergy between the different parts of the kit, it just feels tacked on (compared to D.AST which actually has a lot of internal synergy). It works well in PvP I guess, but that's it.

So, yes, if you compare these two skills in absolute isolation, N.AB is probably better, but if you look at them in the context of their respective job's entire kit, then Nocturnal AST is still hugely inferior to SCH and cannot compete for its raid slot outside of very specific situations.
