I didn't forget the pet, the pet was just irrelevant to the skills I was comparing. And Nocturnal Sect doesn't suck, it just has a bad rap from its past incarnation.

You can't compare skills alone, you need to compare all the package. N.AST vs SCH with Fairy then you can see how trash is N.AST compared to SCH.

That's the problem though the pet is NOT irrelevant in skill comparison. The pet is relevant when comparing all skills, because it is indeed part of the scholar package. While casting Adloquium your pet is indeed simultaneously casting Embrace (you can even directly macro this to each of your skills if you want to direct the pet heals).

Both of the other healers do NOT have this so they have to have larger heals (or vastly greater utility built into GCs) in order to even begin to compensate. Also mana costs are highly dependent on mana recovery methods, which are quite different between the classes.

The pet is not irrelevant. You need to really compare adlo+embrace vs N.A.Ben. Also adlo can be interacted with via deployment tactics. Nothing interacts with N.A.Ben in an AST toolkit in any way thats beneficial (healing boosts aside).

I think adlo is fine. A deployed adlo is filthy. A emergency tactics crit adlo (they sometimes happen......sometimes) is super filthy. A deployed crit adlo is just OMG \o/.
