    So far we don;t know much about the Gigas.

    I believe the Gigas we see roaming Mor Dhona originated from Abalathia's Spine and only came there partially due to food, but also the appearance of the Crystal Tower. But with them worshipping the tower it's highly likely they were at least subjugated by the Allagans and used as slaves, perhaps they were the one's to built Crystal Tower. Just like the Ixal, they eventually re-interpreted the CT differently in their lore? Afterall, Gigas were also used the Ul'Dahns as slave a few centuries back.

    As for their primal? Who knows, many thought that Shiva would have been theirs, but that's clearly not the case now. Ethys has a neat video connecting the Gigas with Belias as their potential Primal

    But yeah, as far as I know, there's no connection with Sephirot due to Sephirot's beast tribe being "tree-like" in appearance. It's possible that the remaining 2 could be theirs? Guess we'll see eventually.

    I think OP is talking about what's written in Unukalhai's Warring Triad book, about how the Allagans used Sephirot's essence to make things bigger;

    Chapter 1: Sephirot:The Allagans performed experiments upon the captured eikon, siphoning his growth-inducing energies into the cultivation of numerous chimerical monstrosities─one unnatural existence propagating countless others.
    So the Gigas wouldn't originally have been Sephirot's people, they'd have become so after they were infused with his power. Given they seem to have what looks like a third eye perhaps originally they were whatever race the Garleans are and that's origin of the myth that Nero believes in, that the Garleans are descended from the Allagans.

    (Sephirot juice also neatly explain why Uni and Doga were about our size but Xande, Amon and Friends were all about 30 ft tall. For Amon, Embiggening Time was All. The. Damn. Time.)

    Just to clarify I am not saying that the Gigas worshiped Sephirot. More, they are the result of experimentation on Sephirot.

    We know for a fact the reason Allagans like Xande and Amon are so mahoosive is because of magical growth juice extracted from Sephirot. So we can assume that the rich and powerful turned themselves into giants make themselves more powerful and impressive. A symbol of their dominance or something. Like ow rich people but expensive cars and such.

    And then there's Phlegthorn, another giant Allagan. We know from is triple triad card that he was actually an enemy general that was captured and brainwashed, given the 'make my monster grow' treatment and left defending the labyrinth of the ancients.

    So here's my theory...

    The Gigas are descendants of the upper class Allagans who made themselves giants. As the centuries rolled by, memories of Allag civilisation faded and got corrupted. The crystal tower, which their anscestors remembered as a symbol of the might of the Allagan empire became a holy place only heard of in stories, which is why the Gigas are drawn to it. The giants and hecatoncheir are descendants of a slave race created by the Allagans to act as builders and bodyguards for their masters, along the same lines as what happened to Phlegthorn. According to the Gigas guildhest there is a hierarchy with giants serving the Gigas, so this backs up my theory.

    Also I can't be the only one that sees the similarities between Xande's model and the giants....
