Contacted by a GM and selling ownership, property, and possessions of a free company is indeed against ToS. So thank you again for confirming that there was a gil transaction here and with our ingame chat earlier.

Man thats terrible about what happened to you, happy you got contacted by a gm, hope everything works out.
You can get everything back? The house and everything?
Unfortunately there is no guarantee that any items will be returned. As long as no one can profit from it, we'll be content.
Shit happens. I might have sold it too
ANUBIS! Am I going to have to keep my eye on you?
Er... assuming the FC was active, there would be more than a couple warning signs that something wasn't right. He proceeded to tell me he was just cleaning up the FC before he invited me. I was in no way shape or form trying to cause drama between a free company, I was just one of the many people looking to get some housing. I'm sorry things worked out like this, but I had no reason to beleive he wasn't the leader.
1) Online members or time of last login - In order to kick people, you would have to pull up the MEMBERS log. Are you telling me that no one was online who said "WTF?" when they saw what was happening, or no one who logged in recently? It would be highly suspicious if it still seemed to be an active FC or even a handful of members were still logging in/online.
2) Room demolishment - If I remember correctly, there is an additional warning that pops up if you are trying to kick a person who has a room in the FC, warning you it will get demolished. Were there no rooms? If there were, did none of the rooms belong to people who recently logged in/were currently online? I don't think active members who know their FC is going to get sold are going to sit around in said FC and allow their rooms to get demolished. I would think they'd have moved out.
3) ACTIVITY Log - Assuming this was an active FC, you would be able to see when people trained chocobos, sent out airships, gardened, putt up buffs.... etc, hinting that this FC was still active. If anyone other than the supposed FC leader had done some actions in the past few days, it would be suspicious.
4) FC CHEST HISTORY - Time and date of gil donation or items withdrawn from/deposited into the box. Perhaps the guy who sold it to you already cleaned it out - I have no idea. If not, this probably would be another warning sign that he was lying to you if people were still actively using the box.
Correct me if i'm wrong, When the FC leader ditches(Can't login for X period) Leadership gets transfered to the second highest rank(The one below the FC leader)
So if i'm correct here, Its kinda his fault for having a crappy 2nd in command.
Can't blame the other guy for buying the FC/house regardless what happened with it.
