Well overall your macros aren't really too bad and things you would generally use together anyways. We are mostly talking about the people who do things like macro embrace to all of their heals and such, which actually slows down the fairy.

Haha! One time, a spriggan got too close and I twapped it with the spine of my book for like 3 dmg, and it died. They are so cute and make a sad noise when ko'd..... Never again![]()

Of course it is?
White mage is better than AST in many situations and meshes perfectly with scholar in a raid composition. Why in the world would you think white mage isn't viable?
I thought Paladins were the main healers...
But no, on a serious note: WHM has the best DPS power over SCH and AST. It's the ASTs who are supportive and not WHMs. In FFXIV, WHM is the main healer. Because there is no trick playing them. It's all about burst heal, burst damage. Raw power. It's really easy to play as a white mage. You should try it out.
Haha, I used to be one of these! Since I've gotten better at targeting and the game in general, I did away with most of my macros. I still keep one for Eye for an Eye and Virus so it is easier to apply them while healing. And I also have macro'd Eos and Selene's abilities together in one icon--that way it will only use the ability of the fairy that is summoned and decreases crossbar clutter.
In regards to OP's post... Play whichever healer you like the most! I've leveled them all and love to play them all for different reasons. WHM is still and will probably always be the strongest raw healer. AST and SCH are a mix of healing and utility in the form of DPS and card buffing respectively. the only way to figure out which you like best... Is to try them all!

Do what you like, personally i would do sch because of how awesome it is in dungeons best dps with a healing pet
