well your forgetting the part were they they said it does matter if your all from the same company if you wanna get the best drops/loot.

Doesn't say better loot. Common sense should tell you that they just mean better drop rates, ie: 2 Ifrit's Blades is a greater reward than 1 Ifrit's Blade.

Besides, who the hell is gonna do this for loot anyways? Materia infused gear will be better and, in my opinion, this gear looks like something you can buy at a Halloween store, children's toys essentially.

Edit: I'm more concerned about not getting saved skill sets. I vaguely remember them saying that it would be included in 1.19.

My guess is that the 'children's toys' hit like a mack truck tho....
