
Uhh...but what about the ATB gauge aspect of GCDs...and how fast we act...this has been in almost (every) FF game. What would you even replace Speed stats with? It's a core stat of every RPG game.


Haste:
Reduces costs of skills/spells.
Reduces the cooldown.
Reduces the cast speed.
Berserk:
Increases critical chance.
Increases critical damage by a small amount.
Thorns:
Reduces damage taken from all sources by a tiny amount.
Deal damage back to the target each time your hit.
Gives a small chance for the caster to heal for four times the amount hit with Thorns.
Ferocity:
Improves damage of auto-attack.
Gives a small chance for the caster to attack twice or three times with auto-attack.
Gives a chance for the caster to attack all targets in front of him with auto-attack.

Haste is a spell, not a stat in Final Fantasy. I do see what you mean, but this would literally be the same thing that we are dealing with right now if not similar if the 2 stats equaled out to be the same numbers all the time.


It can be a stat in ffxiv. Its nothing else in it. It also makes sense.
