Generating even more interest in mininum IL

I loved doing all the ARR fights back before echo was added and these fights posed a challenge and feel it is a shame many who clear it now simply get carried through a clear with no idea of mechanics, for the sake of a poetics bonus.

I would love to see some additional bonuses added (not glamours) for completing these fights with either min IL or completing it exp LV synced (lv50) and WITHOUT echo. I know I could do these challenges for personal achievement but motivating others to also wish to complete the content this way is quite hard to do. Providing some form of incentive would give people a reason to use the iLV function more. The current sheet music can drop both from min IL and non-min IL so many dont want to bother with min IL when they can spam the fight quickly and faceroll mechanics

Could add these as a mix of achievements or direct drops (aware a couple of these exist already, so would be excluded from dropping in coil)

Suggestions

• Caduceus, ADS, Dreadnought or Twintania miniatures/card/minions from Binding Coil
• 'Binding Coil of Bahamut' card for completing T1-5 with iLV sync
• Rafflesia, Melusine, Avatar, or Nael deus Darnus cards from Second Coil, with minions/miniatures added to Second Coil (Savage)
• 'Second Coil of Bahamut' card for completing T6-9 with iLV sync
• Imdugud/Kaliya/Phoenix/Bahamut miniatures/card/minions from Final Coil
• 'Final Coil of Bahamut' card for completing T10-13 with iLV sync

Not expecting all of these, even if just one of these could be given as a bonus for completing each tier (binding/second/final) with min IL/no echo, just throwing out ideas

I've been hoping they'd add more incentive to run Min IL with this patch. They had the perfect opportunity to do this with the replica (high) allagan crafted gear. They screwed up badly by making them drop undersized or normal(level synced, ilevel 130 cap) + 20/30% echo.

Me and a couple people on Exodus ran T12 and T13 on Min IL a while ago for the music sheet drops. It was pretty entertaining, but it was with echo still nonetheless.

+9999 to your suggestions, but i think just minions or cards wouldn't really cut it. They should drop (crafting) materials needed for high end stuff similar to how the i110 crafted gear worked(allagan crafting mats from first coil).

Remove unsynced or SEVERELY decrease the rewards for completing something unsynced. Increase the incentive for doing min. ilevel outside of orchestrion drops.

I'm on Exodus as well and tried so hard to get people to do that. I wanted to start with Ultima just to test what the ''increased drop rate'' meant. Still, Ultima at iLV61 is actually pretty good fight. I've set up party finders for this but with no success at all. I ended up farming unsync'd like everyone else. Now the only song I don't have is the T12 one.

So yeah, if you've done it, i'd be interested to know what your findings were. Someone told me that more then 1 sheet drops per clear? can you confirm this?

I think before moving on to exclusive loot there should be achievements for doing raids under min ILevel sync with some items there to make it appealing. As an example:

• Adherent of Limits I-VI: Clear a set amount of Raids or EX Trials 25/50/100/300/1000/5000 at the Minimum item Level
  • III: Weighted Gi
  • IV: "The Fettered" title
  • V: A Minion or a voucher for a Cash Shop Minion
  • VI: A mount
• The Weighted Coil I/II: Clear the Binding Coil of Bahamut 500/1000 times.
  • I: the "Neurolinked" title
  • II: Wind-up Dalamud minion (This depends on if SE would prioritize promoting min ilevel sync over thir merchandise)
• The Weighted Coil III/IV : Clear the Second Coil of Bahamut and the Second Coil of Bahamut (Savage) a combined total of 500/1000 times.
  • III the "Masochist" Title
  • Wind-up Nael deus Darnus Minion
• Weighting of the Heart I/II: Clear the Final Coil of Bahamut 500/1000
  • I: "Will of the Phoenix" Title
  • II: Wind-up Bahamut (Again only if SE decides to "revive" merchandise minion that have expired)
• Well that's just Primal: X I-III:Clear a specific Primal (Extreme) Trial 500/1000/3000 times under minimum item level sync (X being the primary's name)
  • I: "X's Bane" title (X being the title of the Primal in question ex. "Inferno's Bane")
  • II "X's Glory" Title (Title based on a Weather or phenomena associated with the Primal's element)
    • List includes, in order of Primals fought: Firewheel, Tremor, Cyclone, Illusory, Tsunami, Supercell, Hailstorm, Advection, Eruption and Apocalypse
  • III "Slayer of the X" title (X again being of the same list as above for the respective Primal)

I would also suguess having the Primal mounts drop more ofthen for EX trials, but the ponies are a moot point and the birds are for fight that haven't been completely powercreeped by players yet and likely will not be until 4.0 (not to mention that it may not help the issue of getting things from unsynched raids)

3-5 music sheets per min IL kill. We did 3 kills for t12 and 13, so everyone got theirs guaranteed and a couple extras.

Simple solution. U're doing stuff unsync? U're getting literally NO loot at all. U want stuff? Do it the old proper way.

Even if this measure would be taken it would not serve the purpose of the thread, making minimum IL synch more appealing. If what you propose were to happen, then all that leaves (Complaints on the forums and Reddit aside) are people queuing duties with normal synch (which would leave people overgeared in certain instances) and less people running content overall.

I've really enjoyed going back into doing Coil and attempting it again at minimum ILevel, even if we leave Echo intact. This way it's not completely unfair to new players but still needing coordination from a party to beat. But yes, some unique rewards from attempting bosses, raids, trials etc., purely obtainable at minimum item level without echo would be fantastic!
