Okay we're a year into HW, where's storage diversity?

This would gimp someones income greatly as i know many casual crafters whose main gil source is diffirent prism grades, with only one grade it would mean everyone will flood it thus cutting prices extremely low compared to what we can get now(sometimes grade 4 prisms sells for 15k each). Just saying.

I mean, it might just be me, but 15k is more than a tad expensive for prisms... Just throwing it out there. Just tell 'em to move onto other methods of making gil, as a non crafter I used to make quite a bit of farming Heavensward dragons, but then that went out the window so I did the Diadem and sold the mats, and now I'm selling materia. Always gotta find new ways.

More storage is desperately needed. Another retainer would go a long way to helping and would probably be the simplest solution. Wasn't there some mention of giving us another free retainer this expansion? (sorry, beyond knowing I read that here, I don't have a source)

Sorry, but it is an utterly inane comment. Completely ignoring the fact that farming for glamour is not a viable means of keeping old content relevant; In a year I might go "I want that Ballad set from Labyrinth!", and I might spend a week farming it, but in a year I've only spent a week farming it... That is a terrible method of keeping old content "relevant" because it's another do-and-done system.

I want old content to remain relevant, but farming glamours is an utterly terrible way to achieve that... It doesn't make the old stuff relevant, it makes the old stuff annoying, for Crystal Tower to remain relevant we're going to need something like a Raid Roulette...

Join the new players so desperately trying to do the content instead of begging for a way to avoid it. Could you be more selfish?

This doesn't even really factor in to anything other than Crystal Tower... That's the only Lv50 content I can't undersize, and when I can duo most of the Lv50 content, you're damn right I'm going to duo it to farm anything, rather than spending extra time explaining mechanics to newbs and losing lot against several other people...

Yes I'm being selfish, funny thing really, I don't pay a monthly subscription to be a bleedin' charity. It's a strange concept, I know, but sometimes people expect something back when they're paying for something... If I'm in a good mood, I'll help out, but oddly enough "Why do I have to farm this again? Why can't SE just sort out the damn inventory system in this game?" doesn't put me in a good mood. I'm paying a monthly subscription to enjoy this game, not to rerun Crystal Tower a dozen times, to see what I'm after only drop once and go to someone else...

Honestly, the big thing for me is the fact that they're putting meta-currency in your bags. I mean Rowena's Tokens. If you craft and gather AND dungeon, that's three types of tokens you need to hold onto. And if you start saving up for Poetic stuff, that's even MORE tokens.

I'd also give anything to not have collectibles take up bag space, or to be able to summon my retainer to go turn them in for me.

There's an option if you need more retainers. The more money ffxiv or SE has access to hopefully that means more improvements to ffxiv.

That's another idea they could steal from GW2. They have a "wallet" system where all of your currencies are kept - no need to clog up your actual inventory hanging onto all of the random coins/tokens you obtain.

I'm having inventory space problems. Since I hoard alot of glamour things, and craft to a certain extent...2 retainers aren't exactly enough. I don't want to farm for glamour I want again, because I have no place to freakin store it at. BS on server limitations. They should be using the money to upgrade servers to actually be able to handle all his stuff. With better servers, I am positive these problems would go away. Why can't an extra be a veteran reward about about...say 1.5 years of being subbed to the game? It would help a lot if we got an extra retainer for being subbed to the game for X amount of time. Goes to show how many loyal players out there yet that still want the game to thrive and grow.

Either that, and PLEASE MAKE A GLAMOUR BOOK OR SOMETHING. As for tokens, MAKE THEM A KEY ITEM. It will help with inventory space! =_=

I'm leveling crafters and gatherers right now and I have 200 free slots in my two retainers and 25 on my inventory. Stop hoarding.

Wait til you get them all to 60 and you get access to uncommon/rare materials lol...

I have 8 crafts to 60, 3 gatherers to 60, all of which I use regularly. The Airships in my FCs are my babies, I just built the 4 viltgance parts. I use retainers regularly for more material collecting. I'm also a huge fashionist, so I have to have glamour gears. I mean don't even get me started on those glamour prisms lol...

I also primarily use 4 jobs (SMN BRD NIN SCH), currently leveling DRG, I plan to level MNK.

Oh and there's the PVP gears lol....Cause I also actively do PVP > >

Oh and.. and whoever said "lol if you are done using it, just drop it and farm it when you want it more." CLEARLY never have farmed in their life, ESPECIALLY when you're after a specific gear.

To summarize: one does not simply get the item you want in this game lol. Especially if it's a glamour from say.. Syrcus tower.

If materials are uncommon/rare, then just sell them. Buy them back when you need them. So yes, stop hoarding.
