That's way too much CP, the OP said it was 387 CP +0 from food.
MaM, CZx2, SH, PbPx2, IQ, SHIIx3, 8x Hasty, MMII, GS, INGII, BB, CSIIx2 = 385 CP
Any ToT turns a hasty into a Precise or adds an Innovation.
Specifically I would bet he's running his rotation as follows (roughly):
So I was wrong in that, his CP is still high enough to use SHI at the start comfortably. So technically you could comfortably loose another 23 CP lower than what he has and HQ 3 star goods most of the time. Sounds nutty but I do it in practice all the time (HQing without any food).Sadly he doesnt have the extra CP given on your example. Since i'm working with 397CP i roughly guess his rotation relies on ToT, since they pop up quite often during 3stars. I assume this is similiar to mine - the rotation has 0 BT/PT due to the lack of CP. Every ToT can be used for a BT/PT instead. Basically its a MaMa+2PbP with alot of ToT and only SHII.
EDIT: Got ninjad D:
Katlyna, what simulator is that?
And is it fully updated for 3.2?
Probably Heart of the Culinarian. So, friend of mine does 3* HQ food, with only 387 CP. He uses the new food, that boosts craftmansship and control to reach the required stats.
How does he HQ with such low CP ? And appearently it isnt just luck. Any rotation I havent found on the Net yet ? I really would love to know, how he does it ._.
45 cp, and the rate of good is very high with it. I rarely have under 2 procs during it, so in most cases you can get 20+15+20 cp back with it along with the extra cp saved from nymeia's wheel. Even 1 proc becomes worth the cp if it takes you into satisfaction for 15 cp and the extra 10 durability gained from wheel. Is it a specialist skill? Does heart of the whatever-have-you give you a good every other turn for 7 steps or something? I haven't used the specialist kills much and am still gearing so haven't tried 3*s yet. xD Just a guess. It's 60 CP, right? But you get like at least 3 procs so it pays for itself if all you use it for is TotT.

Oh my mistake I didn't catch he wasn't using CP Food. Then he's probably using this variant of the same rotation. If he doesn't get a ToT then he would skip the last SH. This is essentially what my rotation looks like when I don't use any food (though I would have all SHII's and don't require the ToT (the ToT instead would grant me an 18 point action to muck with). There is risk in the below. but with enough starting quality you'll HQ 9/10 times give or take. I'm assuming he would use a second ToT to convert all the SH into SHII.
He might be using something different mind you, but this would be the logical approach from what I know and have done myself.

Also the crafting website/tool is http://ffxiv-beta.lokyst.net/index.html#/simulator
It is NOT updated for 3.2 and will probably be a bit (it takes the author some time to adopt the new recipes and numbers). But its a fantastic tool for theory crafting none the less.

Oh I can use this on 2 star craft as well since my CP with baked onion soup is 432.Oh my mistake I didn't catch he wasn't using CP Food. Then he's probably using this variant of the same rotation. Thanks for the replys everyone. Katlyna's rotation seem to work well with such low CP. Have tried a couple of 3* myself with this. Guess we figured out how he did it![]()
Dunno why you'd use that new food to begin with though. Overpriced and unnecessary when seafood stew will get it done more reliably.
Guess your friend is really undergeared?
The oysters needed are fairly quite an easy catch. Maybe he gathers them himself and craft the food he needs. Not necessarily buys off of the MB
