Please stop arguing that this is a proper course of action, because you are wrong and I am tired of repeating the same arguments as you ignore every single one of them.
Where did you arrive at 80 crit? I'm looking at a gain of over 250 Critical Hit Rate with the new gear at a cost of ~3500 HP.

I'm getting it from you. You never linked sets, so, uh, yeah? Not quite sure where you're pulling 250 from, since if you're only melding the 854/897 sets, you're doing something wrong... And if you're melding anything other than Strength into Fending accessories or Vitality into Slaying accessories, you're *also* doing something wrong, since there's no marginal secondary gain that beats out 15 main stat. 6-7 AP >>>>>>>>>>>>>> <0.1% crit rate boost for any skill you're boosting Crit for.

So, basically. How would you change this WAR set to match your peculiar ideals of how stats work to "improve" it? http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/T41U
Please show me how you get an additional 250 crit onto this build without sacrificing meaningful amounts of accuracy or skill speed through the magical use of slaying accessories to reduce that single instance of parry that I was forced to take on.

And regarding the standing with thumb-in-bum while party's full health... If that's the decision you make while playing the Job, go for it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that if you're not pushing the hardest content early. All I was saying is that Healers are designed with dps built in, so it's clearly not the intention that people will stand there and -only- heal at all times.

Step 1) Build for casual play, adjust for raid play.
Step 2) Don't build for damage. Again your numbers don't matter now that you're a full tank. SE has said this in live letters over and over. We aren't looking for DPS with a secondary stat utility build. If you want to DPS, go be a DPS. I'm mad about this, others are mad about this. Tank is your role, deal with it.

Square wants to remind us that the primary purpose of a tank is to...well, tank. Tanks were becoming melee dps with defensive cooldowns, and square wanted to fix that.

They're arrogant and think the only thing that matters is dps. So if a vitality accessory has parry, they won't wear it. Nothing matters except for their own parse numbers.

Good news is, we have crafted and midas and lore accessories now. If you really hate parry that much, there should be an option to avoid it among 3 sets.

They're forgetting that having extra hp has >0 value. Replacing parry on one accessory for a strength accessory with more desirable stats is a very marginal dps increase compared to the value of extra hp. If I save one heal due to the tank having deeper hp and can throw out one extra stone iii or broil once in a while, that's also an increase in dps. If a little extra hp saves dying even once, that more than makes up for the loss in one "bad" secondary stat.

None of this even remotely addresses what I asked. Why do you ignore everything anyone says? You remind me of Drumpf. :0

I was gonna write out another long response about how you just refuse to listen, but I realized you'd just ignore all of that, too, so I'd rather not waste my time.

All I'll add is that the "your dps doesn't matter anymore" argument is getting really fucking old, primarily due to the fact that it's patently untrue.

^ just pointing this out but knowticed if you just remove the skillspeed meld, added accuraccy to it instead and use steamed staff youd hit cap exactly and get 3 more crit and 4 more skillspeed :>

O: I was looking for something exactly like that, but couldn't seem to make it work, so thanks! Those caps aren't 100% confirmed yet, though, so 723 might be high or low. That said, having the 723 at base gives much more leeway - you can swap to acc food if needed and hit it nice and easy!

Wait, shit. Who cares if you can hit? Lol. Your dps doesn't matter anymore. What am I thinking? Haha. Stupid me.
