I think FFXI had this where provoke would make the player lock onto the tank for a few seconds.

In EQ2 as a Berserker I could keep an entire raid attacking me every minute, and permalock a target onto me.

Okay, many game do different things. I don't think we need tanks to become raid bosses simply because it's pvp.

Not really what i'm saying, i'm saying that tanks need to do their role like "EVERY OTHER class" can.

I REALLY liked the way Voke worked in FFXI.

It could miss.

If it lands then you cannot do anything that requires targeting anyone other than the voker.

That means you can't cure or attack anyone else.

I don't remember exactly how long it lasted, but maybe 5 seconds is fair?
