You reach 544 bases on the fact that you're full tome gear + all materia V accuracy on available slot...
But choosing to take crafted gear and overmelding allow you to go far beyond the a4s cap

Let's say left side = tome gear and right side = craft accesories
You got more or less 10/11 slot on left and 25 on the right
If we suppose using more IV materia...
    We can reach +324 accuracy
So 678 with the base accuracy

An exceptionnal amount for a healer XD

BUT (and it's a big butt)

I do not take in account the fact that each piece will have cap for accuracy
And SE could block healer by lowering the allowed meldind cap in accuracy on each piece

As time goes on we will fall further behind without the introduction of accuracy in whatever form is chosen.
There is no accuracy cap on non-extreme primals and non-8man raid. The misses you notice on neverreap are only on the last boss, because of his shielding ability which grants his increased evasion as it takes damage (full evasion at 8 stacks, add phase).

Unless they changed it with the expansion, but my WHM has yet to miss anything out of coil and I've used it on everything except alexander Savage and the 3.0 Ex primals.

Eeh, I do get very occasional misses in lvl60 dungeons. But I'd say that on an average, my miss rate is like... 1 %, or something. Not high enough to be bothersome, anyway.

Thirding it. It happens. I've missed Aero III's in Fractal (always annoying) and Holy in Arboretum.

I missed with Miasma four times in a row in Thordan EX. When the stupid spell finally hit, I missed Aero three consecutive times >_>. My DPS went down by almost half.

Indeed, there's definitely an accuracy cap. Heck, it's even there on the lvl60 Training Dummy - fluid aura can miss. Given that fluid aura is often used as an "oh bum, gonna die, get away" skill you really don't want it to miss.

Incorrect, there are accuracy caps outside of the content you mention. It has been discussed quite a bit both here & elsewhere that the lack of acc on healer gear is becoming a detriment, even in relatively "low" level dungeons like Neverreap.

It's apples and oranges. A tank's "job" is to hold hate. A tank can only perform its job when it can hit the enemy. Therefore, accuracy was added to tank stances to tanks could do their job better. A healer's "job" is to heal. A healer can perform his job no matter what because healing doesn't require a set accuracy amount like some other games. Therefore, accuracy is not needed.

Accuracy was only added to the TANK stances, not the DPS stances. Why would you think they would add accuracy to a healer's DPS stance then?

It really isn't apples and oranges, nor is it a very logical explanation about healer DPS when Astro and Scholar each have DPS skills that are 100% hit rate and do not have accuracy requirements.
