anime names/any Japanese names = really really played out imo

I can understand the appeal.
Nothing makes me happier seeing someone with a proper Japa- er .. Auri name. One that makes sense and everything!
I mean honestly when I was younger, of course every character I made had a fake Japanese name. If you are an anime fan that creates characters you did it too, don't lie. Obviously, I know better now, probably best to give Japanese names to Japanese characters and not your fairy Mary Sue OC from Supernatural or MLP or something but...whatever. You get the idea.
Funnily enough lots of Japanese western media fans do the same...but with English and French names.

On topic again I probably wouldn't speak to any Kirito because I find SAO awful but that's just me. cough
