EXP is shared may mean something different .. as in you have lvl 50 GLA, and lvl 1 PLD ... when you kill mobs as a lvl 50 GLA and earn XP, you will earn that XP for your PLD. Meaning you still have to relvl PLD, but you just got kicked in the groin for lvling it before original Jobs came out. SE does like to make things a grind to extend life.
