Still, they won't just hand it to you on a silver platter, which is all that matters. Now, this may seem easy for someone that is already lvl 50, but think about someone that is just starting. It will be a real challenge.yes, Lvl 50 PLD = Lvl 50 GLD is what i understood also, but i also thought there was like quests to learn the abilities for the jobs only. so, yes, you will be a lvl 50 pld, but you will need to do the 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50 pld quests to get those abilities. granted as a r50 those low level quests will likely be very simple to complete.
Did you read the thread at all?yes, Lvl 50 PLD = Lvl 50 GLD is what i understood also, but i also thought there was like quests to learn the abilities for the jobs only. so, yes, you will be a lvl 50 pld, but you will need to do the 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50 pld quests to get those abilities. granted as a r50 those low level quests will likely be very simple to complete.

I would expect you to have to be on the Job while doing those quests. Now, bear in mind the jobs are not meant to be successful in solo play.yes, Lvl 50 PLD = Lvl 50 GLD is what i understood also, but i also thought there was like quests to learn the abilities for the jobs only. so, yes, you will be a lvl 50 pld, but you will need to do the 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50 pld quests to get those abilities. granted as a r50 those low level quests will likely be very simple to complete.
I imagine the quest tasks being more about completing certain objectives on the job, rather than a simple fight. If it becomes more like that then the quests will be much more interesting than a simple 'rip through it on your lv50' endeavor.
Examples:
Paladin: Survive for X minutes.
WHM: Keep an ally alive for Y minutes.
Another possibility is having the quest difficulty scale based on the actual level of the player entering.

I adore this idea. Of course, I'd like them to keep some heavy battles for some of the job missions, but this suggestion just seems so fun and hard to pass up.I would expect you to have to be on the Job while doing those quests. Haha I like the choice of words there. I definitely hope for a unique experience from the job quests.

Level 50 Paladin = level 50 Goldsmith?
Mind = blown
I'm sorry, I couldn't resist xD

Funny how you make this thread and only moments later it is wholly disproven by Yoshida himself LOL

Look again please.
