8 people parties... no joke... that's like a mini raid... 4-6 is perfect for normal pt'ing in mmo or otherwise xD I prefer and think a small party size is much more strategic and personal, not to mention way more fun![]()

~Rationality falls quite short for those living in their own world~
"See the world for what it is, not for what you want it to be!"
What are you smoking? Yoshi-P had the party size reduced from 15 to 8 not long ago!
Oh, another form of torture in XIV: Being forced to bum-rush your way through a timed dungeon to reach the endboss in order to achieve the majority of rewards. Seriously, that is NOT relaxing or enjoyable at all! I'd rather have dungeons that are not timed, so I don't have to go "OMG OMG, WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME, HURRY, KILL BATRAAL!"
Seriously, Yoshi-P. In some ways, you are going in the wrong direction when you want to be "casual friendly", and adding timers does not help.
P.S. Because of this problem, the chances of an "international" party of JP/Western gamers ever succeeding in Dzemael Darkhold or Toto-Rak have been cratered way past below zero. Way to promote multiculturalism!

Well to be fair, when sonic's running at 500 miles per hour, it gets kind of hard to turn corners and explore the surroundings, you just kind of... go with it. Doesn't take away the case that Sonic Adventure 1 + 2 both had excellent sales![]()
While this is a thread of negativity would just like to point out that everyone here is taking it to a lighthearted level of fun and nostalgia (for the most part at least that is), I believe we are handling this very maturely and like already mentioned its a great way for SE to look through what people don't like in their games, and since this is the topic at hand there isn't much flaming or trolling going on, so its easier to read for them (since they don't have to weed through all the trolls).
Ah, just thought of another one.
Window shopping in the market wards.
Seriously, that foot-fall noise all the retainers do REALLY grinds on my nerves. Only takes about 30 seconds of constant foot-tapping sound effects and I want to kill everyone in there >.<
I gotta agree with this. What's the point of putting us all on the same servers if the activities are gonna be next to impossible to overcome if there's a language barrier?Oh, another form of torture in XIV: Being forced to bum-rush your way through a timed dungeon to reach the endboss in order to achieve the majority of rewards. And on general principle, I do not like being forced to run through and away from the enemies instead of defeating or avoiding them.
I used to think lvling Gathering was torture, before I found the good website and knew where to get the nodes. Now I like it a lot.
But yea, Ive never felt so tortured as when I would camp NMs in XI. Maybe today it will spawn! WTF, that JP guy had it claimed before It even popped on my screen!
