8 people parties... no joke... that's like a mini raid... 4-6 is perfect for normal pt'ing in mmo or otherwise xD I prefer and think a small party size is much more strategic and personal, not to mention way more fun

What are you smoking? Yoshi-P had the party size reduced from 15 to 8 not long ago!

Oh, another form of torture in XIV: Being forced to bum-rush your way through a timed dungeon to reach the endboss in order to achieve the majority of rewards. Seriously, that is NOT relaxing or enjoyable at all! I'd rather have dungeons that are not timed, so I don't have to go "OMG OMG, WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME, HURRY, KILL BATRAAL!"

Seriously, Yoshi-P. In some ways, you are going in the wrong direction when you want to be "casual friendly", and adding timers does not help.

P.S. Because of this problem, the chances of an "international" party of JP/Western gamers ever succeeding in Dzemael Darkhold or Toto-Rak have been cratered way past below zero. Way to promote multiculturalism!

I gotta agree with this. What's the point of putting us all on the same servers if the activities are gonna be next to impossible to overcome if there's a language barrier?

And on general principle, I do not like being forced to run through and away from the enemies instead of defeating or avoiding them.

What are YOU smoking? lmfao! That's common knowledge and has NOTHING to do with what I said! Him reducing party size has nothing to do with CURRENT party size requirements or limitations. Pay attention, especially if you're going to quote someone *facepalm* Just because there was a reduction doesn't make the current number perfect atm nor feel any less zerg or raid like... Doubt you'll understand the simplicity if you didn't get my last comment though so stopping here lmao >.< ... sad attempt at trolling! *sigh* ... my troll list ... err block list, is filing up fast ^^ Luckly a good 10% or so of the community isn't like this xD

That said, being a mmo... next on my list is the current community as a whole. How does that affect gameplay? I'll let everyone figure that out by themselves if they can LoL (Feel free to give Feral Ren a hand though... or troll-nip, w/e they prefer o.O)

It wasn't a troll, really. My goal was to have people suggest what they thought were problematic mechanics/implementation in SE's games. If it was a troll, it would have resulted in me being much derpier.

And yes, the community DOES affect gameplay. For example, people immediately jumped on the "ARC IS AWESOME" bandwagon when Dzemael Darkhold first came out, and everyone was going pure mage/arc/gla parties, and it was driving me nuts.
