My expectation is that we'll get some gags related to the new climate he finds himself in, perhaps a run in with an inquisitor ("Filthy Rats!") and probably a Gentleman of Darkness to mirror the main scenario. That could work, and hopefully it does (or I'm completely wrong and they blow away my expectations), but that's my concern; predictability and nothing really new or fresh to bring to the table. I'll gladly be wrong on this, though.

Meanwhile, I found the Doman Adventurer's Guild quests to be refreshing enough that I want more, and we've got an entire expansion of new NPCs that could benefit from a Mail Mog style quest series. Just my opinion of course, but right now I'd rather see that, than more Hildibrand. I am happy we're getting more Hildibrand, don't get me wrong, I'm just hesitantly happy, while if they'd announced new Doman Adventurer's Guild quests, I'd have zero hesitation.

That's exactly why I'm voicing these concerns. I don't think it is as simple ask going "Just make whats popular", because that appeals to a niche. Hildibrand fans got Hildibrand, meanwhile people who enjoy riddles got a fairly slapdash job with Winebaud's Riddles and a few oddities in Heavensward. With an MMO of this size I think it's important to cater to multiple tastes, and even when catering to a specific taste, it's important not to overdo it. It's been a year though, so perhaps it's been long enough, I just hope they've got more planned than just Hildibrand at this point. Quite cruel of them to leave the kids quest hanging with a Valefor tease, of all things...
