Astro needs a Nerf in PVP

They need to really balance pvp if they want Feast to be successful.

Astro is literally not fun to play against in Wolves Den, and will be worse in 60.

This is why I don't participate in Friday Night Fights.

It's essentially a race of who can stun+lb the AST first, which is rather monotonous and not fun (to me).

If others enjoy the current state of WD, then that's fine. I just don't personally care for it.

I'm assuming you only had a few runs that required lb to kill the healer. Maybe 1 out of 15matches (if that) results in the game even lasting long enough to see LB. Anymore then that and I'm more concerned with the dps/tank you are getting paired up with.

But it only happens in a match with an Astrologian. That's the problem.

You can say "oh well your dps suck" but that's not the case. What if the AST is as good as your good dps? He just Attunes, big heals, continues to sprint and shield, half your burst is mitigated by a GCD. You have to stun LOCK the AST, and can't force purify until you stun, AND break their shield.

It's not fun. There's no counterplay to the job. There was no counterplay to SMN raise and they got rid of that. It has to be nerfed if they want to see success, end of story.

Except it does not only ever happen with an AST. Matches going all the way to LB have and are happening time and again with White Mage/Scholar. LB matches are not new. The only difference now is that people play AST because it is quite literally /faceroll compared to WHM/SCH. Yes, AST is ahead of WHM/SCH in the department of freecasting, which is why i made my earlier proposal. Taking away freecasting power from AST would take them out of the game, no reason to bring them.

Instead of complaining why not find out what an astros weakness and exploit it. Believe me astro is way weaker than you just need a some common sense and a little bit of patience.

Guilty as charged. I think I've played 2 WD matches. My first one was with Panzer Tone (and Atreus, I think?).

It was alright, I just would prefer a more objective-driven form of pvp.
