When is the PS3 Version going to get cancelled?

The PS3 version should never have existed to begin with, if I'm blunt.

Other than the obvious fact that the PlayStation 4 wasn't even out when ARR launched, and the PlayStation 3 already had a large market compared to a platform that had yet to be released, they promised 1.0 on PS3 and that backfired spectacularly. ARR releasing on PS3 was simply fulfilling that promise.

^This. FFXIV was promised to come to PS3 back since 1.0, and it was stated that they would not break that promise. They had already damaged the trust of the playerbase and could not afford to do so any further.

I also remember Yoshi saying that Heavensward would be the last expansion to be released on PS3? I expect that means they will likely maintain support for original ARR and Heavensward areas, but no future expansion content will be accessible for PS3.
