Saying "stop buying retainers subs" is just not going to happen.

Then SE won't add extra retainers: it's so much more money gained from retainer subs, in a game where all characters can all class and need gear for said classes.

I'm not blaming anyone, but if SE sees a profit on something (they are a company afterall: they don't care about benefits for others, before theirs), they'll make sure to profit on it for good.

Infact I honestly doubt we will ever have extra retainers but that's just me being negative.

I know and that's true but I can't just stop using them that's the problem. So we're all screwed basically.

You might be right, but eventually the ill will it generates might catch up to SE. Your favorite restaurant might start charging you a dollar to use their bathrooms or for glasses of water or to sit in their booths, after all that would make them money and those are services/products, but it won't take very long before you stop going out to eat there.
