Mentality from WoW. People still think DPS don't matter, that's why DPS have the lowest chances of getting comms compared to sub-par healers and tanks... ><
I don't think this WoW mentality will ever leave MMOs.

"The DPS can be replaced huehuehue"
honestly, sure the BLM SHOULD have been using Enochian, but all I saw was the OP have a go at them with a shit attitude. He deserved the kick that he got
Actually, I saw the opposite. OP asking why he wasn't using Enochian, and then being shot back at with a bad attitude. Re-read the chat log there, you should see the same.
Asking a person 'why aren't you doing X?' is now considered rude.
Fractal apparently isn't lvl60 content.
All of you are over-sensitive fools coddling the worst type of players because feelings may be vaguely hurt somehow by a simple question, or can't read.
This is why I never think much of this forum community.
In before I get banned for this too.

OP started with a "is this a bot?" therefore your argument is invalid and you're wrong.Asking a person 'why aren't you doing X?' is now considered rude.

Please read the post before talking.

And the person that was asked that had more humor than you to respond with a sarcastic 'yes'.
The OP had to ask 'is this a bot' after at least the first boss of the dungeon, so you can assume no two-way communication was going on since the start. Is it now rude to wonder if the people you play with are human after that length of time with no communication too? I question it, and so should you every time you go through a 20min+ dungeon run where people don't even exchange pleasantries.
My point stands: the over sensitivity to the point of coddling the worst type of player behavior because someone asked them a question that indirectly tilted their ego should stop. The community is worse for it.

Right? According to some people here, if you say something like "Hey bard, can you use Foe Requiem, please?" you are being rude. They expect us to stop at the middle of the dungeon and write an essay, then get on our knees and apologize 3x, so we maaaaybe will not offend the majesty, just maybe. Oh, and you have to accept if the glorious majesty tell you to shut up, otherwise you are being elitist. What the hell. This mentality is so surreal and amusing at the same time.Asking a person 'why aren't you doing X?' is now considered rude.

Like I said earlier, I just carry the bad/lazy players when I use DF, it's not a big deal to me, if I have at least another decent player in the party I'll have fun. But it's so sad that a part of our playerbase want to be seen as perfect, they will never acknowledge any advice, perfect snowflakes. I have never seem this before, this level of entitlement, not even in known "toxic" playerbases, like League of Legends.
Luckily, in-game is not as bad as in the official forums, I get bad players, but I also get good players at the same time.
I never said coddling anything, people need to be held accountable. However, there's a proper, constructive way to do it, and a negative way. The negative way never results in actual change happening, but being constructive tends to lend a hell of a lot more in improving someone. Maybe it's not us being "over sensitive fools" and you just being a hyper-aggressive scumlord.Asking a person 'why aren't you doing X?' is now considered rude.

It is if you think asking a person a yes or no question such as 'are you a bot?', and 'why aren't you using X?' is rude, and the treatment the OP got was deserved, all the while you defend poor play, and worse conduct to a player that can offer help, just because the tone you think the OP used was rude.
Read the words for what they are without the implied tone that you think exists between the OP and the others in the group.
I'm not the only one who sees much of this community and yoshida's own viewpoint on damage parsers some time ago has a major problem in backwards thinking, and mentalities reflective of SJWs at the cost of leaving players ignorant, and silencing people who want to make people aware they need to improve because feelings may be hurt. I'm just less tolerant of it as time goes on, and I'm tired of mincing words. Sue me.
People want to complain dps checks are too high, yet parsing is a bannable offense that people will report you for if it hurts their ego in the slightest, and telling someone they're doing it wrong is offensive even in the least offensive forms.
I'm out of posts for the day, so have fun.

It's got nothing to do with "SJW's" or anything. Hell we're even in agreement that something needs to be done for players not performing as well as they could be, What I won't accept, is blatant disregard for other people. It's got nothing to do with being "afraid of hurting feelings" It's got to do with the fact I was raised by my parents to have MANNERS when speaking to another person. Would you walk up to an employee at a store, knock stuff out of their hands and tell them they're shit because they're not doing at as fast as someone else whose been there several years doing the same thing? No. You wouldn't (I'd hope not at least). I treat people online the same way I treat people irl. With compassion. With respect. Until they give me a reason to not do so.
