At that point, you're better off just bailing than carrying them if their dps is that horrid.

This is the typical thing most ''casuals'' say. Sorry, but I have to say it. When you seriously do something with people or help people to try understand their class later then say ''you taking game too seriously''. Ever heard about time is precious? What about respecting peoples time. If I KNOW I'm bad, I would rather leave then say something like what you just said. Ugh.

If you have a hot date you need to catch whilst doing that df roulette, you may need to rethink how you play the game, rather than complain about "teh casuals". "Respecting people's time" often sounds like its an excuse for being a rude tool. This is the typical thing most ''casuals'' say. Sorry, but I have to say it. Thanks, I really appcriate you call me rude tool. The fact I'm thankful is because most people most of the time can't deal with a person like me around, telling the truth. No, really, I do know it's duty finder that they talked about, but this isn't excactly the issue most of the time. When 7 people who are teaming up together and do well, while 1 is doing bad dps and cant meet the dps check, should I completely ignore it and say it's fine? And pretend something is not wrong? No thanks, I rather help them, much as I help the guys at the gym for doing the excerises wrong, some get offended and some doesn't. Those who get offended however, are people like you.
When I take my time to teach some one or give them a tip or two, but they get offended that's their fault, not mine. I don't mind ''bad players'' as long they are willing to learn. From the reply you gave to me, looks like you are one of those who aren't willing to learn and ignore the problem. Meh.

Then don't pretend this is some sort of raid situation. The OP was in the midst of a tirade that bothered other members of the party and would have hung in the air until the rest of the run. And the player had someone in their FC, so if it did come to a vote, it wasn't going to end in OP's favor anyway.
So yeah, sometimes you do in fact need to consider whether complaining about the extra minutes is worth getting kicked or rolling the dice on a rep. especially if you are going to get heated and complain about playstyles and how people have low standards and blah blah blah. That is not time management, that is tempting fate.

Well I agree on the first part. Also yes some people can be a bit harsh when it comes to telling or asking people why they dont use propper rotation or skills. It's like what has been told, some people doesn't really know well and some people (sadly) doesn't care and just do it for fun. Yes you play game for fun, but also doing it wrong and you KNOW it and people kindly ask you to improve or simply trying to help you out (because they either play the class themselves or read guides for it), but the person refuses and keeps going. I'm saying this as in general play, not raids or duty finders, as mentioned, you cant expect top players in duty finder, after all that's what you get, randoms who can or cannot use rotations propely. Then don't pretend this is some sort of raid situation. However, it's like this guy I met in dusk vigil once, i kindly asked him to switch gear to the higher ilvl so the run could go even faster, since he was using lvl 39-42 gear. He said woops, wrong gear, but then at the end I saw him keep wearing it and he said, sorry I have no gear... Why would you say u were using wrong gear then keep wasting peoples time, because its fun to do it? I know this thread isn't excactly about that, but sometimes I just think people do it on purpose, which sucks. Then again I'm sorry I went off harsh on you, it' wasn't intended but I get annoyed when people do things in purpose, and I talk about being bad on purpose and then say it's just a game or for fun.

Generally speaking, yes. Or else you'll face being ignored, or reported for harassment, or what-have-you. With that said...

Also, you can't teach people how to play in a single run. Especially in DF parties. Tell them they might want to check up some guides, eventually give them links if they want some, but by telling them what to do if they didn't ask is out of your way.
Generally, I just say something along the lines of "you're not doing the maximum you could do, may I give you some bit of advice ?" and then it's up to them to know if they want to improve or not.
