I am ok with the mount, but not the galmor. The Dev's are not ok with the removal of glamor restriction, but they are willing to give an inch long as it is understandable to them and does not ruin the overall game experience. Adamantoise is a flying turtle that is powered by "magic", but it is still identified as a turtle and a mount. It having flying does not take the fact away that it is a mount and is a turtle of the Final Fantasy game,but if a mage is to wear plated armor that a paladin usually will wear than it does take away of what a mage should be in the Dev's and other player's eyes physically. Bathing suits are a complicated issue, but they are available to all class types which is something that can cross that line.

But before I finish this argument here, I want to say that the Dev's can compromise and allow specific "plated" armor for caster type such as what they did in FF11 to still give their fans the plated armor they wanted while still keeping their class identity intact.
