Can we please stop locking content out of DF?

I'm genuinely curious as to why there is a content lock-out from DF on things like EX primals and Savage when they are released. I have unpredictable work hours, I can't commit to a static, and sometimes I get off work in the early morning hours when it's hard to get a PF group going.

So why is it in place? If I want to subject myself to DF in attempts to clear, shouldn't that be my choice? Regardless of how bad DF can be sometimes, most people go in with the mindset to clear and isn't that much different from getting a group of randoms

Do Savage first, then tell us if you still want to try and clear that with 7 randoms

You don't want to do savage even with a group of non randoms... oh wait, that's my opinion.

The clear rate in pugs aside, the option is still an option. If people want to do it in DF why should they be stopped from spending their time wiping? They can make their own choices.

Who knows, maybe after the initial rush period most of the bads could give up and eventually make it pugable.

Also people can join DF even with premade groups. Maybe someone is just missing a healer, maybe two light groups could join in etc. It wouldn't be entirely impossible.

Don't worry dude, the nerfs are coming and it will be at the DF in like 1 month or less.

ye splease. i sitll havent even entered kotr ex because everyone wants experience players, but i cant be an experienced player if i cant even enter it in the first place

Let's ignore the part where the OP right in the first sentence said "when they are released".

What is the point of useless content in the DF? It is not like it gives you anything else than items, which will be useless.

Probably has more to do with their stringent lock-out system on raid content not being friendly with the DF menu more than anything.

Beside i have no clue what is the problem for people like you (which indeed are defending SE choice to lock out savage off DF) if people want to have more options. Not like they are gonna remove your way of approaching the content right?

Usually people use DF to try out fights, not to really expect to win. So i have no clue why some things are locked out of DF. It helps getting into the fight and getting used to mechanics, there are no cons to this. Its quite stupid to not have everything DFable.

Uh. Gilgamesh is one of the top NA raiding servers, though. o.O

It's more like, if you don't see learning parties make one of your own. Don't expect everyone else to do it for you.

@OP - When raids are first released, they have a very tight lockout policy (one item and one token per week) and I don't really see how Duty Finder would work with that. If you have 1-4 people that have already cleared, the reward is reduced to 1 chest instead of 2 at the end of the raid. If you have 5 or more that have already cleared, there aren't any chests at all. This would make it possible that partial premades could actually completely deny drops to the other people they get dropped into an instance with (we're going to go under the very generous assumption that it actually could be cleared in DF upon release in the first place).
