Can we please stop locking content out of DF?

Usually people use DF to try out fights, not to really expect to win. So i have no clue why some things are locked out of DF. It helps getting into the fight and getting used to mechanics, there are no cons to this. Its quite stupid to not have everything DFable.

Its not hard to put up a Yolo learning PF though. Alex Savage is NOT exactly content that brings out the best in people. Imagine the rage and flaming that will occur, this is exactly the toxicity that SE wants to avoid. Why do you think the Savage/Extreme fights get heavy nerfs before going on DF? even to this day there are tears shed over RavEx, let alone ThordanEX.

IMO, the main reason people like (though I'm in no way implying you or the OP) having things in the DF is the easy carry due to the leaving penalty. I know, because a whole bunch of JP players dragged my scrubby bum through Titan HM DF for the relic (Though I was too noob back then to realize what was happening).

PF, while being elitist, allows at least some order of people going to where their experience is appropriate. Hell, A3S is hard enough even with a familiar team and excellent communication.

Sorry, but I want to enjoy the content atleast for a few months before it gets nerfed so bad it is no longer challenging (and I hope I am not the only one).

all I will say is this.. nothing is hard once you know...to know you need to try, to try means you die, to die means you learn, you Learning means you will know...easy...

I dont see where DF is a problem, people choice to use it, butat least for those like me where my Schedule doesnt allow me to be in a static or comit to a static, it would at least leave it open, nobody forces anyone to do it, but at least is there. Nobody asked for a nerf for it, we only asked to use DF to match up with others in the same situation as us and within the same world is not always possible as not enough people do it in PF and if PF is up they want payment to join (yep seen that too), an existing option open does not mean you need ot use it but is there if you want to use, there is a choice as opposed as today where there isnt.

This nonsense of locking content out of DF needs to be stopped once and for all. I do not buy all the cheap excuses that is so hard you don't want to do it with randoms. A choice is choice. If someone wants to spent his evening wiping it's his choice and I don't see any problem with that. The savage clear rate speaks for itself. It's too hard even for premade groups and a nerf is confirmed is coming. So next time keep a reasonable difficulty and put all the content in DF. Same goes for the Aetherochemical Lab which sadly is still out of the roulette. It's a wonderful dungeon that somehow we forgotten. That's a shame. Especially considering how few dungeons we have in lvl 60 and Expert roulettes. Just 2 of them. Putting in roulette will also help those you run it for 1st time for their story. Future Savage content must also be in DF. Let people decide how they gonna run something and do not force things.

If you make it available in duty finder, how would you work with loots ? If someone wants the 2 chests, and meet people who already cleared it, that d be complicated to manage options. But i must admit it would be funny to put savage in DF, i'd just enter for fun lol but it would be only for fun, or training. BTW i already see early abandon votes just like in normal mode, with people ragequitting after 1-2 wipes.

You have the Party Finder, which people should be taking advantage of (as some servers do) instead of looking to DF as a practice mode (where any supposed progress you make is lost after the instance ends, as you're likely to never see those players again to build on said progress). Even when nerfed, the previous Coils were a gamble in DF. Alex NM now with overgeared players is still a joke trying to clear sometimes. Throwing raids designed for teamwork and coordinated play into the randomness of the Duty Finder would be stupid.

Yeah, easy mode content was in DF on release, which some people still can't handle with i210 gear. That's the point. Yet having far more difficult content in DF on release would be a good idea?

A community that couldn't handle Steps on release wants the hardest content thrown in DF on release. Hilarious.

I had no issue clearing all of Alex normal in the first week using duty finder. Sure the terribads get in, but you have to treat every DF party like a learning party that might clear, not a farming static.

They talked about this in a Live Letter or interview from the era following the original EX primals (which were originally in the DF right away). I can't remember their exact reasoning for not putting future EX primals there right away, but it had a lot to do with the demanding nature of the fights, which make them not as suited to the Duty Finder before strategies are developed that more of the community is familiar with.

As for Savage—it's not even on the Duty Finder instance server right now. They have a separate instance server solely for whatever the highest-tier raid is, so that progression groups don't have to content with additional lag and the like caused by heavy server loads during primetime. We can reasonably expect that unless they get an all new instance server infrastructure, the top raid will always be separate from the Duty Finder on release.
