    Personally my FC had about 3 active members for a good portion of a year. We just got a few new friends to join a couple months ago..

    Moral? Even if the numbers are low, don't see that as a failure. Tell your friend to persevere and stick with it, soon members and new friends you actually want staying around will find there way to your FC.

    My guild in another MMO had only 4~9 active members, and for me, was the best guild ever.

    Focus on the members you do have and their enjoyment. FCs where only numbers matter are a dime a dozen.
