Already have them but good for the people who need them.

They should include the LV bag as well![]()
Thank you so much, SquareEnix, for allowing me to spend more money on your game!
"Hello
Thanks for all the interest in reobtaining the event items from the Lightning on the Horizon! seasonal event.
We've heard enough voices worldwide to add these as optional items, so like previous seasonal events, we have confirmed that Lightning on the Horizon! event items will be added to the line-up.
Lightning/Snow's gear and their respective hairstyles well be added as a costume set.
The weapons such as Blaze Edge will be added separately so you can pick which jobs' weapons you prefer. (please understand that Lightning on the Horizon! only included weapons for jobs existing at that time, so DRK/ROG/NIN/MCH/AST do not have respective weapons)
When we have decided on a release date we will let you know on the topics!

Let's be honest. This event existed for the exclusive reason of promoting a PC port of another product Square produces, and had previously released several years ago on consoles. No one cares about Lightning, the event or anything beyond the cosmetic rewards associated with it. In fact, Final Fantasy XIII remains among the most divisive games in the series' history. From what I have heard from people-- including streamers-- the event itself was actually lazy and transparent to their actual motives. Which is perfectly fine, given it was free. But you're making it out like this were some monumental content update when it barely stretches ten minutes to shamelessly promote another game.I disagree with this entirely. I think that people should be able to experience events like this as they were intended to receive the items, and that putting them on the mogstation straight away just continues the lazy content trend. I'm rather worried that the go-to argument for unattainable event items seems to be mogstation rather than actually running the event again to lure back old subscribers and reward currently paying subscribers. This is content that some people have never seen, and cross-promotes other SE titles in the process.
Actually, I would argue people would be infinitely more aggravated if Square began doing this than tossing old event glamours on the Cash Shop. You're essentially suggesting they design exclusive Cash Shop items. How is that better? There is no reason to discard this content when SE can still add things like Slepnir
Judging by the copious amount of threads made weekly, I think people mind.Aside from the fact that LR recently released on PC, I don't think anyone would particularly mind if these events were framed as a limited time opportunity to receive the items in question. Due to the randomness that the events could occur, it gives an additional incentive for people to remain subscribed and ready to take advantage of such opportunities. Especially if you were to frame them as fill-in events in-between each holiday season that have a much more limited time frame than they normally had.
I, personally, would be more incentivized by new content, not a shameless plug being repeated long beyond its relevancy. My interest in Lightning's event remains on her glamours. I couldn't care less about anything else. And I very much doubt I am the only one.
This does not incentivize people, but rather annoy them. Instead of being able to buy the items on Cash Shop, they have to rely on RNG. As someone who crafts, RNG can go straight back to the hell it crawled out of. All this would do is likely have people skip through the dialogue super fast just to receive their glamour as they're frustrated from waiting.See above, nothing lazy about treating the events like very rare FATE pops that could randomly happen and allow those subscribed to take advantage of them. They wouldn't even have to advertise them really, simply tell people to be on the lookout for the quest npcs and let word of mouth do the rest.
Once again, people don't care about Lightning or her event. They simply want her glamour.

Since I'm great fan of FFXIII, I'll buy all FFXIII Stuffs in FFXIV, I love the Fabula Nova Crystallis trilogy so much <3

To be honest if I had a choice I'd abolish the cash shop alltogether and make all it's content available within game through a variety of content. The stuff from the cash shop could be used to add longevity to content and help players set long term goals to achieve.
I personally find it counterproductive to sell vanity when you could use it to bolster subscriber longevity giving more time before people get burnt out grinding the same few peices of content because it's the only thing to provides a long term goal or tangible rewards.
*edit*
But yes as a compromise as long as there is a viable ingame alternative feel free to nickle and dime people all you want.

No thank you, I have enough to grind for already don't need more to add to the list. I much prefer being able to purchase it and have it right away.To be honest if I had a choice I'd abolish the cash shop alltogether and make all it's content available within game through a variety of content.
