My main DPS job is Bard, and yes, if healers are running low on MP, Mage's Ballad takes total precedence over my rotation or DPS numbers. You jump to conclusions too fast.
So, quoting myself:
If you want to see me DPS, use your cooldowns, dodge telegraphs and follow mechanics, pop Foe's Requiem or Mantra, use your self-healing skills if you get a little damage, dropping Cleric to heal a 2K damage hit easily replenishable with a Second Wind is really unnecessary. Healer DPS depends entirely on how the party is going, because personally, I'm not taking unnecessary risks, especially on DF.

This is your Job anyway. A good BRD have to. If a BRD say "you east MP too fast I cant sing everytime" or "I dont care about Foe for Casters"... well change job XD.
You said well Fevelle
Didnt read everything, but really.... I lvled all 3 healers to lvl 60 (BLM main) and while lvling, in every single dungeon, I was ALWAYS in cleric stance for 90% of the time the entire dungeon. This tells me that healers who do NOT stance dance must be either overhealing with every single spell, OR alttabbing every few seconds, OR simply watching a movie on a second screen..
Use some CD's mate, synergize your CD's with your healing over times spells/shields and you literally CREATE dps windows yourself. Even with tanks that were lazy themselves and didnt use a single CD, I still managed to create these dps windows... Srly, I can't even IMAGINE doing a dungeon as a healer without dpsing as much as possible... Tanks barely need any healing beside some hots or some shields here and there, I would literally fall asleep as a healer if there was no cleric stance.
Not saying I'm awesome or anything, no no no, what I'm saying is, if I can do it on my alts, then so can you on your main. Stop being lazy (yes, you are, stop saying otherwise) and start learning how to play your job with its full potential. It's not by accident that 30% of your skills are offensive..

Yes I am. Probably the laziest person you know. Sometimes I'm so lazy that I don't even log in and let my eso uncapped. So what? This is not a competition about "who takes the playtime more seriously", it's about wheter or not people should harass healers who don't DPS (be it because the pulls are difficult to heal, be it due to their skill level, or even just laziness).
